The Jacobi Project
Vrykolaus Drauvik
It would turn out that Jacobi has nestled himself in quite nicely among The Canadian Progressive Party. The addition of Jacobi has only strengthened the fourth largest party in Canada, putting him among the elite of the group with members such as Plugson and Funky Hum24n, The Canadian Progressive Front have added an even more formidable nucleus to an already well organized and influential party.
All of the above is great, but I am more curious as to what will happen next.
Quite a few of the former superiors of the EPIC party have since left after the Rolo Talahasee takeover, which had formerly if I am not mistaken supported Tyrael Snow and his AFK Party. Now with Jacobi on the political scene, where will these votes go? Something interesting to ponder, could Tyrael Snow and Jacobi somehow form an anti-coalition party to overthrow the MDP?
If it were to play out that in fact Tyrael Snow and Jacobi cajoled some plan for a government change, I am under the impression that Tyrael Snow would in fact play the second fiddle. Jacobi has recently issued a post which calls for individuals to apply for his cabinet. I would say it is fair to suggest he is quite serious with his Presidential claim and would not be open to play the second in command role. I think this idea is highly unlikely, but I have seen stranger things in my lifetime.
Jacobi is indeed a fascinating and bold individual. I am also impressed that as being a newcomer to the party, the more deserving Presidential Candidates of the party have agreed to take on 'The Jacobi Project' without complaint. My personal choice, from what I have observed over my short stay in eCanada would have to be Plugson. Polite, humble, intelligent and organized. All traits I hold in high regard, and all traits he possesses.
I think we have only begun to scratch the surface in what will be an exciting election. Is 'The Jacobi Project' Canada's savior? Only time will tell.

Voted for the quote.
The Jacobi Political Juggernaut is ramping up. TBH I think it's a good thing as Rylde has become extremely busy IRL as of late, a fresh pair of eyes in the executive couldn't hurt.
Thank you very much for the analysis.
I will say two things:
a) I'd support Plugson if he ever decided to run for President. Great guy, great insights, and just enough quirk to keep the Presidency fun to watch
b) I'd play second fiddle if the orchestra was well conducted 🙂
Good luck in your Presidency run Jacobi. You seem to be a very insightful and prominent figure among Canadian politics.
Jacobi/Plugson sounds like an amazing ticket. Or Plugson/Jacobi.
i think if Jacobi ran 2nd to Tyrael i'd personally join Rolo in buying votes against them. I have a lot of respect for Jacobi but really Tyrael only got support last month because he was "not Rylde"
as it is i'd gladly vote for Jacobi or Plugson. Although i know Plugson is not a big IRC fan so he'd need some kind of "minister of IRC" 😛
the real question in my mind is who will run against Jacobi if Rylde is busy IRL and going to step aside this month as dictator.
Very good question screamingslave.
I didn't know MDP drones were able to write such interesting articles.
Voted (but those damn captchas won't let me subscribe)
I can't even find my underwear in the morning, let alone keep the CPF organized.
I'll have you know I am no second fiddle....second cello at worst!
~hyuu~
With 8 reigning months, I'd say "The Jacobi Project" might be a little vague ;P
It has been said that the second fiddle in an orchestra had the hardest part.
@Tyrael: the cello is a beautiful instrument.
@Leo: I wouldn't say a fresh pair of eyes since Jacobi's a returning old timer. I'd describe it more of a different state of mind.
@ss: Is it much of a problem if there is no one running against Jacobi?
That was a flattering read. So much so that I'm almost willing to temp the CoI-CP curse. But not enough, mainly because there's barely enough time to get basic MU and Congress work done in this game. I'm getting the hint around home that people want me to pull the plug on plugson if he starts needing more attention.
However, working alongside Jacobi would be a good way to circumvent the curse and take the pressure off of the time commitment.Would be a good learning experience, too.
Lots of other good talent out there that could make a stellar cabinet, if we could all just get along well enough and didn't need to trip over those tricky Charter rules.
(Funky, you could just go commando like you tend to do. CPF manages well enough)
Traitor snow and hat boy...? let the games begin
The games are already over. This is simply the afterparty
