The Issue With Worker's Tax (EN)

Day 2,088, 18:49 Published in Russia Russia by Justjosh

The worker's tax will come into effect tomorrow, charging citizens to work as managers in their companies as determined by a tax set by their respective nation's congress.

The long term effects of this includes(even if only slightly):

Less citizens willing to work.

Less production of weapons and food.

Less competition in the markets.

And ultimately, higher prices.

Although this effects all of us, it has an even more potential risk to children. They are more likely to find the system undesirable or even impossible to complete on simply a daily salary.

I had read in an article, the author I can't remember, that the way to fix the economy is to prevent currency from leaving the game. As long as currency doesn't leave the game, the economy could only grow. But it does leave the game in the form of travel costs and resistance war support(assuming that gold earned from successful RW's is not sold for currency). Reinstating the travel ticket system could put a large enough halt on the fall of our economy that it may actually begin to grow!

Good luck to all of you! o/
