The Goals and Views of the Democratic Socialist Party (DSP)

Day 2,336, 20:37 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by J.R. Neumeier
Dear Comrades,
It is warranted to post something of a manifesto in a clear and distinguishable place, in order to better warrant the legitimacy that The Democratic Socialist Party (DSP) is in fact not an upstart party to be washed against the waves of major party control. Following in this article, I outline the goals of the party, the views of the party as a political institution, the party policies of how the party shall be structure and act, and furthermore an afterword of the promise I bring to those I entreat to join the DSP, that of a new political opportunity to help the eU.K. become one of the most influential countries in the New World!

Goals:
1. Expound and promote the goals of democratic socialism as laid out in The Communist Manifesto, by Karl Marx, as is in the text and interpreted by the leadership of the DSP.
2. Expand the membership of party to include all fellow-thinking, like-minded individuals who wish to sweat and bleed (their characters) in the name of the furtherance of the United Kingdom in order to set a golden example to the rest of the world how much democratic socialism can propel a nation to prominence.
3. Control the political apparatus of the United Kingdom. The first step being successful in achieving a candidate to the House of Commons (or Congress) of the United Kingdom, and then achieving a majority in that legislative house, and finally the country prime minister position itself.

Views:
1. Far-Left (Economic Orientation) - In accordance to being a democratic socialist party, the DSP believes in the rightful redirection of wealth in accordance of preserving human rights and furthering human civilisation as a whole as opposed to individuals. All must pay their due for a just and benevolent society, and taxes are what ensure a functioning society that ensures and enforces human rights, rather than relies on human selfish greed to hopefully humour them regardless of a sense of fellow human moral obligation. However, refraining from pure communism, the DSP seeks not to destroy the U.K.'s capitalist market but instead morph and tame it into one in which is kept in check by the government, while still being mostly in the hands of private individuals.
2. Authoritarian (Social Orientation) - In order to create a just and humanistic civilisation, the rights of the people must be outlined and enforced. Through an authoritarian orientation on social policy, the government can better achieve this through the direct enforcement of human and civil rights, as opposed through libertarian or anarchistic systems because of their tendencies to rely on independent human actions to regulate themselves and protect each others human rights, even when one human's human/civil rights come into conflict with another's self-interest. It can also be noted that the DSP does not condone totalitarianism, as having such a historic disappointment when it comes to protecting and support rights before mentioned.
3. Further views - While the above should not be considered to be the only policy of the DSP should be elected, it ought be considered a working platform in which is subject to change dependent upon the leadership of the DSP and furthermore upon the council and will of the people of the DSP.

Party Policies:
1. Recruitment - Messaging via mailbox is our primary methodology of recruitment, as it opens up a private forum between the possible recruit and the recruiter for the recruiter to answer any questions that the possible recruit may have, or to engage in a meaningful debate.
2. Discussions/Debate - The DSP will be structured in a manner that all actions and views are absolutely up to debate, and not necessarily for discussion. While discussion may be pursued, discussion will not be seen as binding and meaningful as a debate of the actions or views in questions, and all comments made in the official DSP's discussion page will be subject to debate by the members of the DSP as a form of political participation.
3. Membership - Membership is open to all currently (as of 4/13/14). Individuals are more than welcome to merely go to the parties section and join with the DSP on their own accord, especially if messaged about such an opportunity. This is subject to change, however this policy is currently so that the party may grow and attract more members instead of being drowned out by all of the major parties which often engage in big party protectionism.
4. Opposing Parties - Opposing parties in which ideologies' are not in-line with the DSP are considered 'opposing parties', but also initially 'friendly parties'.
- Opposing parties are defined as any party that is not a branch off of DSP. They are treated as neutral if the only label about them is opposing, and shall not be attacked in any way shape or form, however debate of their policies is permitted.
- Friendly parties are defined as any party in which has not attempted to suppress the enlargement or activities of the DSP, and are considered friends to be engaged with and to work towards common goals against common enemies. Debate of their policies, however, is also permitted, but personal attacks, much like opposing parties, are most certainly not permitted.
- Hostile parties are defined as any party in which has engaged in the suppression of the enlargement or the activities of the DSP. They are considered as enemies of the party, and ought not to be conversed with in any way other than objective and professionally, and their reign of power, in anyway, ought to be opposed so long as that does not conflict with the achievement of the goals of the party as a party and as a governing institution. Debate is encouraged of their policies, and personal attacks are allowed in self-defense.
As this party gains power and recognition, it shall not engage or support big party protectionism or any other activities in which work against a multiparty system.

Afterword;
As the subject of the recruitment message says "New Political Opportunity"; so this party shall always be. The DSP shall act in utter objectivity and with the mind of a cruel and efficient clockwork machine which is subject to changes in its leadership as is the need for it, and any newcomer may uproot an established leadership member (whatever position they may be) should they proved to be more qualified than the current position holder. The status quo shall always be questioned in this party, and until the day this simulation bites the dust, so this party shall remain true to the principles outlined above.

I hope to see more of you who read join the DSP and together we can change eU.K., no matter what the status quo proponents say. Those who believe a single party cannot change eU.K. obviously have belonged to a party in which perpetuates the status quo and in fact refuses to change eU.K. due to their lack of motivation, inability, or refusal to help this United Kingdom rise back to one of the greatest nations in the New World!

Struggle and Prosper! ~
J.R. Neumeier, the Democratic Socialist Party President
