The Gecko Vision

Day 578, 06:52 Published in Australia Australia by Gecko1

Many of you have been inquiring about my use of the word "empire" in relation to the state of Australia. In this second installment of my bid for a congress seat in Australia I will expound upon my goals for Australia.

Before I explain my position I must first describe my character. I am a statesman who holds in highest regards, cunning, planning, deliberate action, national pride, and national prestige. I am not a citizen who merely wishes to see his nation "exist", rather I do not expect anything but greatness from the Australian state. The achievement of this goal requires that every Australian citizen not see himself as a single soul operating in a vicious rat race, but rather as an integral part of a nation which needs his utmost attention. So when you ask "what do you mean by empire?", I will respond...

Empire is the achievement of international recognition, respect, and reverence. Through the three pillars of power projection, economic influence, and political clout, a nation becomes not only one part of the mosaic of the world, but rather the magnum opus of the planet. Australia''s position is precarious I agree, we exist in a fragile peace with undoubtedly the greatest threat to our independence. Am I shaken? Am I intimidated? Do I cringe with fear and anxiety with their every move? The answer is no. Countrymen, all other nations hold nothing to the might of Australia, we are infallible we are indivisible and the wheel of history spins in our favor! Now what does this rhetoric mean?

As a congressman I bring political expertise to the table as well as the ability to diagram and execute the grand plans that are necessary for the creation of a sublime state. I will singlemindedly dedicate myself to the achievement of economic homeostasis at home and the defense of the Australian name abroad. I will offer transparency, accountability, and responsibility as a congressman. My long term goals include

1. The restructuring of the Australian military into a divisional system.

2. The political emergence of Australia on the international scene.

3. The efficient redirection of excess product from government owned companies.

4. Facilitating the growth of the Australian export sector.

Australian Empire does not mean the acquisition of foreign land by brute force or the monopolization of foreign markets by Australian syndicates. It means doing everything necessary to make the world's heads of state envious of the great nation of Australia and the people who inhabit it's fertile fields and bustling factories.
