The Future, Congress and Freedom!

Day 460, 01:02 Published in Greece Greece by Spartan_Hoplite

My fellow Greeks, we are in an age of progress, an age of enlightenment. We can never knnow what the future will hold for us and thus we have to be ready and prepared for any situation and for every scenario.

For the first time today, I saw the Greek flag flying proudly over a region, a true place to call home. A place where we are not subject to the wills of foreign occupiers. I felt so proud and happy seeing this and knowing how much each of us did to make this a reality. I knonw all of us have spent a massive amount of money and wellness to make this happen and we have to make sure it's worth. We have to make sutre we are strong and able and not some plaything for the stronger countries of the New World to take advantage of. We need to take our future into our hands. We need to be strong and united against any danger that the future might hold. That is why I intend to run for Congress.

We need to be strong in more ways than militarily. We need to have a strong economy, with enough jobs and companies for every as well as provisions and supplies like food, weapons etc. Before we can even attempt to do anything else we need to do this. With a strong economy we can have power as well as the respect of every nation large and small.

We also need to understand that we are surrounded by Turkey. They currently outnumber us and outgun us. For that reason we need to train and in the near future start to gather weapons. I know many people want to press the advantage and gain more regions but we can't do that until we have built up Thrace to a point that it is advanced and self-reliant with strong fortifications and a high quality hospital, which I hope we can achieve soon.

I'd also like to congratulate Efthimios Pappas for the superb job he did organising the Revolution and after months of toil giving us back our freedom. Without you none of this would have been possible.

Thanks for reading this reading this article my fellow Greeks and I wish all of us the very best for the future.
