The final hours...

Day 1,526, 17:26 Published in Australia Australia by Ili Lamshar

My fellow Aussies!

As some of you may know I'm running for the Senate in New South Wales. One of the things I'm going to promise if elected is that I plan on keeping you informed of what's going on in the Senate to the best of my ability. I promise to write articles on the laws passed by the Senate here and write about who proposed the law and why they did as well as my vote and my position. I strongly believe it's important to keep the citizens informed of their governments decisions so they are kept honest.

One thing I have noticed in the last 24 hours and what might continue for the next 24 hours is that many of the candidates have posted articles regarding their campaign who wouldn't have published anything otherwise except to get attention. These candidates, I believe, show no real integrity in running for the Senate. They put in their bid for the senate at the "10 days till' election" mark and don't say a word about it and all of a sudden at 24 hours till' the election, they post ONE article. Really? Would you want to vote for someone you never hear from expect to get your vote? I wouldn't. YOU deserve to know your senate. So after the elections, message your Senator. Let him/her know how you think they're doing (try not to troll too much).

With that said, good luck to all candidates and don't forget to vote!

Signing off,
