Congratulations to Slade Cash, who won the BoL primary with 76% of the vote. We'd like to thank all candidates who took the time to run for the betterment of the party. We'd also like to thank all Bastards who voted for Slade in the in-game election to prevent a PTO effort by Serbs. Slade won convincingly thanks to your efforts.

We look forward to another great month of being Bastards with Slade Cash at the helm.

Additionally, in the upcoming days there will the the Member Representative election. Any Bastard wishing to run for this post should state so on the forums ASAP. This is an elected post whose duties are primarily to assist the leadership and also serve as an internal liaison between party leadership and the membership as a whole should a need arise. All Bastards should keep an eye out for this election.

There are now four Bastards currently in office.

Talio Extremist, representing the state of Kansas. Talio has recently joined the party and a link to his full voting record will be available shortly.

Additionally, plans are being made for the next Congressional elections. As candidates are confirmed, this newspaper will keep you updated on which Bastards are running where so you can show your support. Any Bastard wishing to be a blocker can still sign up.

Supply continues to be increased as a result of the latest militia vote. This vote was close between those who preferred a straight raise across the board, and those that supported a "hybrid" raise, with most being automatic but a little bit extra available via request. Remember, all SoL members have an equal say, so don't be afraid to make your voice heard.

Also, as the SoL continues to grow in number, Deriachai is looking for candidates who wish to take a leadership position in the militia and become a captain. Captains are expected to be active with maintaining the daily orders, communicating with the other captains/commanders as well as eUSA leadership, and have a good understanding of how military battles work. As an incentive, you will also get a nice shiny star to put on your SoL border for becoming a captain.

As stated above, the MR elections will happen on the forum over the next couple days. All interested candidates should declare on the boards.

Congress elections will occur on the 25th. All Bastards should stay tuned to the forums and this paper for more information as the date draws near.

Also, the proposed Party Manifesto amendment will clarify the CP Primary process. Any CP candidate who is seeking the BoL endorsement should declare on the BoL forums prior to the final 3 days of the month, during which the primary will occur. For the May CP election, the deadline for seeking our endorsement is April 27th.
