The Facts on the Current Relationship of Ireland and EDEN

I'm not going to talk to you about conjecture or why I love EDEN, I am just going to share with you some facts about EDEN that don't seem to have gotten around amidst the senseless downtalking. The very people calling for Boycott aren't involved in current Foreign Affairs and don't have a grasp of the actual situation, but just what they have heard or what they think is happening. Well, as vMoFA, the facts:


Fact Group One: EDEN does not disrespect Ireland. I have been in every MoFA meeting this month and even a Summit meeting. The only thing I have experienced there is respect and courtesy. Speaking to several other MoFAs or vMoFAs for Ireland, they have asserted the same observation.

Fact Group Two: In every meeting I have attended the voice of Ireland has been heard and has had an effect EDEN policy. New programs have even been ammended to better represent smaller nations, at the request of Ireland. In a recent meeting the Irish proposed resolution to a key matter passed unanimously, and it was an Irishman who called the vote and served as a sort of parliamentarian for that part of the meeting. Rather than being neglects, we even punch above our weight when it comes to EDEN affairs.

Fact Group Three: Within 20 minutes of me requesting a final push on war plans, boom it was done. EDEN understands the need for an Irish war and is going to support us. The complicated issue with declaring a war is that you have to do it carefully and discussing it with EDEN every step of the way. We are in a Brotherhood, and some of our actions could hurt some of our close friends if it isn't handled appropriately. That is why it is important to incorporate EDEN advice as they are constantly monitoring what the larger effects of every action will be.

Fact Group Four: EDEN has saved us in the past. EDEN has guaranteed our independence always. EDEN is prioritizing our war of tomorrow. Before you ask again what EDEN has done for you lately, think about it for a second. People are saying that nothing has benefitted us since March... how quickly we forget that our EDEN MPP Stack was a major deterrent to Canada's threatened invasion recently. That collective security is the very thing that allows Ireland to remain sovereign as well as we do.



As a personal observation. When I directly contacted EDEN with plans for a war, they were pleasantly surprised. They were even more surprised when I listened to their advice and incorporated it as options for the Congress to consider. Right now Congress is considering these war options, and interestingly, the current wisdom of Congress seems to match that of EDEN. Not surprising as both are looking out for Irish interests in this war, but this war will also help many of our close friends. This war can likely begin days before the new CP is elected, if we so desired, though Congress is deliberating on that.

In a conclusion, EDEN are our Brothers. Just because we sit in a relatively boring corner of the globe right now is no reason to blame EDEN, it is even more the reason to embrace them. They will enable our war, and while we await that approaching moment we can fight in the trenches of our many friends. Boycotting EDEN only cuts us away from our allies, as well as from any hope of continuing to gain respect within the organization. We cannot hope to gain anything by boycotting in fact it looks to damage much of what we have accompolished. This boycott will ruin Ireland's image as a nation that always helps their allies regardless of the situation all so that we can do what? I'm not quite sure what anyone hopes to gain by a Boycott except to shove eIreland forcefully away from our friends, and no one seems to have adequately explained what is to be gained by this.


What is to be learne😛 Communicate to get what you want. Boycotting is ridiculous as it severs the lines of communication.


This article will get trolled, who knows comments may break 100 with antiEDEN and proEDEN scuffles, but this article isn't for the trolls. This article is for the people who are trying to learn some of the facts. I respect other peoples opinions, but to leap away from EDEN without our people knowing that we are actually quite respected and involved in EDEN would be a disservice.
