Dear citizens of UK
As far as you have known eUK made a peace treaty with Eden last night.
It came as a big surprise for me as well as for Phoenix allies.
A few days ago eUK Prime Minister asked me to allow a credit for eUK government. It's was supposed the money can be transferred right after the contract signing.
Well, we have to postpone the crediting until eUK government clear the situation.
As far as eUK is our ally, we respect their national interests and their right to make a key decision regarding to the international relations.
However, eUK also have to respect national interests of Phoenix allies cause we spent a lot of time and resources to defend eUK against EDENs invasion. It is a big wonder that eUK had a secret negotiations with EDEN behind allies back.
I still hope we will continue joint action on liberating the West Europe from Eden's occupation but the eUK reputation is going to be tainted.

freddakos on the contrary. It is US that called upon its citizens to donate over and over again and has resorted to issuing "war bonds". The fact that it ended its invasion with a failure - after spending tens of thousands of gold speaks for itself.
@freddakos: it is clear that UK needn't have spent any money for a week, PHOENIX would have gladly financed opening battles and prolonging mpps. You guys could have fought with no weps and q1s. Total spent gold was going heavily in our favor and they were getting weaker and weaker. The ideal situation to liberate France & Germany. This move is a betrayal of THEM (F&G) most of all.

Many of us are ashamed to be british. We have been betrayed by our goverment just like pheonix has. Many of us will fight for pheonix and move abroard and join you. I hope you welcome these citizens.

I am ashamed over this, everything PHOENIX members are saying about how it would be so much better to fight on is true. This was a stupid decision, and one I am truely ashamed of. Suffice to say if it was me in my country's government I would have voted and strongly argued against it.
Personally I would have fought on to the bitter even if there were not so many clear advantages to fighting on, even if we didn't have a fortress in London, even if we didn't have so many brave and awesome phoenix allies on our side. As it is, I simply cannot understand this decision at all.
This is great. At first I was disappointed to hear we made peace, now I'm thinking that making peace is more devastating for the UK than taking London would have been.
Conquering the UK would have just brought the Brits and Phoenix closer together. Now, at least based on the media, Phoenix feels almost as betrayed as EDEN!

Don't care who ratified it is just plain wrong the belief in us as worthwhile allies has vanished overnight. The goverments of our allies may order their people to defend us it doesn't mean that they will.

I'm a eGerman citizen and most of my country is annexed. So what? It's better than this coward act. But don't blame the citizens of eUK. They think exactly the same way. Blame their president, blame their parliament (impeachment wasn't successful, so the majority seems to agree with this "Peace" thing...)
It's not about cowadice it's about simple maths. Here are the maths, those Mpp's people wanted so desperatly to fight for France and Germany... could not fight for France and germany, even assuming that Eden's leaders are Morons and didn't block us. There where no Mpp's against Spain, none, zilch, zero, zip, nada.
Take a look at the map, and note where the eUK borders touch France, oh thats right all those lands are held by Spain! Wonder why that is, oh thats right it's so that those Mpp's could not reach France. Any time we attacked all Spain and Poland would have had to do was region swop so that the borders to those lands where always Spains and... not one Mpp would have made it through to Poland.
So taking that into account, riddle me this...
Would it have made sense to have continued to have the eUK as a key battle front for Phx, or remove it so that everyone could concentrate where it mattered?

I would feel sorry for you, except it should have been obvious.
The eUK used to be a member of ATLANTIS. The winds of change shifted, and PEACE membership looked more profitable.
So, they discarded their old allies, like Canada (which had done NOTHING to inspire betrayal) and joined PEACE/Phoenix.
Then, they got themselves in a tough spot. Most of their homeland was overrun, and London was besieged. A tough spot, indeed.
Unlike the RL brave defenders of Leningrad during WWII, however, the British chose to make another deal. Apparently, without consulting their allies, leaving you out to dry.
The wind had shifted, and they made yet another deal.
I was encouraged to see the number of Brits who are committed to staying with Phoenix.
Frankly, we don't want you back, and with eUK on your side, I think Phoenix is doomed.
