The End of the Organisation?

Here is a screenshot of what I'm talking about:

First we had the productivity bonuses for citizens, and now we are told that only citizens are able to buy companies. It seems that the admins are slowly removing organisations from the game, I'd say its only a matter of time before you are no longer able to create them. But why? And what does this mean for the future?

Why remove something that is so widely used throughout the game at the moment?
There are many possible answers to this: Most multi-ers use orgs in addition to the Monetary Market to transfer Gold from citizen to citizen. This way if the MM market transactions were to be checked, the Gold will not be shown to go to a citizen's account but an anonymous org. The Admins have also recently re-introduced the ability to move a newspaper from country to country, allowing journalists to produce articles in foreign countries. As a counter to this though, the Admins may want to stop org. voting from manipulating small countries' top 5. Another classic problem is the robbing of the contents of a shared org. by one of the citizens holding the password for that org. These incidents cause problems for admins, especially when the org. is not nationally protected.
Whatever the exact reasons for these changes there is definitely a move to increase security going on.

What are the implications of these changes
Many questions arise if orgs are removed from the game. So far it looks like there is no change to the amount of companies a citizen can own, this is very worrying for citizens who own multiple companies through organisations atm.
The worries for company owners doesn't stop there:

Citizens still aren't allowed to buy companies in foreign countries, so if your country doesn't have a particular resource you are now forced to buy those RMs from foreign company owners. This also means that company owners in smaller countries will be forced to buy licenses to allow them to sell to a wider market. It is predictable then that however hard the admins are making it, we are going to see an increase of multis by company owners. Our economy will be in a mess.

It will also be interesting to see what the admins are going to do about state-owned organisations? They only recently took note of orgs. that were classed as "national" and thus protected from an individual robbing the contents. The main problem arises with military organisations? Are citizens going to have to be used to supply troops?

I speculate that there might be an alternative to orgs. introduced for companies and the government. Whatever it is, this is only the beginning of what I think will be a series of changes in order to improve security, doubtless within a few hours this article will probably become obsolete because something else will have changed!
