The Election and My Views on it

Day 1,506, 09:18 Published in USA Pakistan by Frodo Tea Baggins

I'll start with the obvious, I'm not on the ballot for POTUS, so be it. I'd like to thank those that stood behind me in the attempt, those that took the time to apply for positions and those that took the time to share their ideas. It wasn't my time and it came as no surprise.

On a more positive note, since one of the areas I recieved most positive responses over was when I discussed my views on taxes, I am awaiting a reply to my application to the Economic Counsil. Ideas don't have to die just because of a minor setback and I'll try to continue to find a way to help improve our country.

Moving On....

I have decided to place my support this month behind Sir Gulden Draak

You heard me right. Is it because I think he will beat Oblige. I don't think so but on the flip side I also don't agree with Oblige's vain attempt to want to achieve 75% of the vote. Don't even get me started on Pthut. While it's all to easy to jump on board and cowtow the line to the likely winning side I don't agree with the reasons to do so.

Sir Gulden is a valid choice to take the reigns as CP, with the knowledge, attitude and experience to lead this country in the right direction. No matter what happens I believe he should finish ahead of Pthut based on his obvious qualities. Regardless what the nomination list shows and the result that will be supported by the 2-clicker nation (I'm a realist), I do not consider this a waste of my vote and I encourage those reading this, who have a mind of their own, to consider this. There's nothing wrong with taking a different path.
