The Economy and stuff...

Hello There!
This is my first article, so don't be too rough
😉
As I am sure you are all aware, our country's economic condition is in a bad shape.
Low paying Jobs, High Weapon Raw Materials, low gold prices ect ect...
I am writing this article today to point out the problems, maybe have a little rant and a moan and point out a few possible solutions.
High Weapon Raw Materials
Well... the solution to this, is in theory, quite simple to an extent... We need to produce more. There was when I looked, not alot of WRM within the market, and when items are scarce, the prices go up.
when you have a flood of a selected item within the system, the prices, due to the weighed out demand will in effect go down because of competition.
Of course, stating the obvious is one thing, but what plan must one take to achieve this?
Our income of money, during this so called period of peace, must be saved, we all must limit our fighting to save money. Then buy WRM production buildings.
People who have spare WRM must sell.
How did we all get in this state?
The introduction of Q7 buildings was some would say, a good asset to the game with regards to military terms, but financially, it sucked the market dry. The increased gold within the game soared to compensate for the EXTREMELY STUPIDLY high prices of such asset.
The input of WRM needed to produce 1 batch of Q7 units is 200 X amount of units produced. so for us here in the eUK with our 60% bonus, 3200 units of WRM is needed to produce 16 Q7 units.
That is the same as, (in the eUK) around, give or take 11 Saltpeter mines to accommodate ones self with his/her own WRM supply.
people simply don't have enough money to buy that many mines due to the price, so, people buy from the market. Can you see where this is going?
> Screw you Plato!!
To conclude,
In order to lower the price of WRM, we need to add more to the market.
To Increase Wages, we need to lower the price of WRM (as people will have more money now, to spend on their workers).
To increase the price of gold, more needs to be bought by the entire eRepublik community, this can only be done with more CC within the country's system.
Hope you have a good day
Thanks for reading!

Good work..\o/
o7 Well said v + s
Why is it essential for everyone to try to have Q7 buildings? The gold cost to buy them will be a bigger barrier to owning and operating a Q7 building than the raw cost of materials. I've been playing for 3 years and won't be looking to upgrade beyond Q5....
Incidently, people with Q7 buildings will probably be hiring people to work in their Saltpeter mines etc...
Dumb ass these things are fairly easy to see as the case but your being too simplistic there are people with lots of vacancies and Ive had no people even looking at my offers since I put them up so to fix the econemy its vital to boost our econemies by getting more workers where they are needed. Do that and I'll sponsor someone in eUK producing Q7's for a 10% cut as long as the rest goes to the MOD.
He's a troll Danny and not even a good one, best not to feed em mate.
Great first article danny! Well done mate o7

Of course, the impact on low-level players is drastic. The cut in wages coupled with relativly low production levels cuts the amount of income available to them.
Note to above, by low production levels I mean their production. Low-levels don't have the factories to make expensive good and so can't make money that way easily.
Its a hard thing atm, the NHS has now seems to be unable to deal with supplies demand.
EVERYTHING boils down to WRM and people are hoarding their supplies.
All that I encourage, is that people start selling at a lower price.
Really there needs to be a limit preventing lower level players from working at higher level companies so that they are able to work for raw material companies (this would mean lower wages for them though). I doubt Plato would do this though because he would rather that people create more and more companies of all kinds.
"Really there needs to be a limit preventing lower level players from working at higher level companies so that they are able to work for raw material companies (this would mean lower wages for them though)."
How about an equally ludicrous idea, lets make higher level players pay at least 90% of their income out as wages.
