With the longtime Peifferst domination of our Executive and Legislative branch, the political landscape of the United States has become arrogant and corrupt. As you all know we have declared war against our longtime ally Canada. How did we reach this point?
**The US under Israel Stevens began secret peace talks with our enemies, Poland. It excluded our allies.
**The Peace talks were successful and a non aggression pact was signed. Ending the stalemate in Europe and ceding our European allies to Hungarian, Serbian, Polish rule. We then expressed a desire to form a new alliance that consisted of Poland, Spain, and the United States.
**Once Canada became aware of our intentions they dropped the dox and exposed everything to the public
**From here the war drums started as the Peifferists in the eUS forums began calling for war against Canada.
**A Canadian congressmen was then bribed with $50K to declare war on the United States by an American citizen, mere minutes later we responded with our own declaration of war. (amazing timing) although the Canadian declairation was OPPOSED AND REFUSED by the Canadian Congress, the United States Congress approved the legislation to declare war.
**Hostilities began today with an attack on Manitoba
It'll be interesting to see if the Mercenary Armies of Canada (mostly made up of American citizens who oppose peifferist rule) will be able to withstand the remaining forces of America. Will the upcoming Congressional elections reverse the crisis? It'll also be interesting to see if Poland takes this opportunity to strike a distracted US.

@Plugson: Unfortunately, I will remember the unfortunate occurrences under Israel Stevens and now Evry and they will haunt me... eUS Gov't giving up on defending its homeland in previous wars.... eUS Gov't giving up on defending against Poland during Israel's term (rather early as well, within 10 hours of the battle for Aquitaine... that's about when they cut supplies)... and all the events in the article.
