The Day is Swift Approaching

The day of my move to Ireland is swiftly approaching as the United States loses more and more territory to PEACE. Today's battles will determine if my state of residence is completely surrounded and cut off from the rest of the nation. It has been hard for me to watch as my nation quickly disappeared under the brute force of the PEACE barbarians. I poured hundreds of gold into trying to stem PEACE's march eastward and moving US citizens unlucky enough to be caught behind enemy lines as the front pushed across the Mississippi River. Many other Americans also poured their savings into the war, and the government nearly went broke funding the military. Unfortunately, it was all for naught. The United States only controls 18 of its original 51 regions, a loss of 33 regions to PEACE.

Therefore, I prepare for my departure to Ireland within the next two weeks. My nation is in ruins, my government has cast me aside and turned its back on me, and many of the players I considered friends have withdrawn their support. I will either leave when the United States is completely overrun or when my term in Congress has ended. Either way, it will not be long before I leave for the Emerald Isle. Ireland, I am on my way...
