The Chinese Endorsement: Why Akki Would Make the Best President
Modelcon
If you look at how the other candidates talk about akki, you can always see that they treat akki with respect, and emphasize how good of a job he's done. The other candidates are always saying that akki has done a fine job in office, and that akki will always be part of their circle.
This is really an article for all Chinese in Japan. Speaking as your Vice-President, I fully endorse akki. He is the best candidate for further work with a Free China. When China is freed, we can count on akki to further Chinese interests, and promote mutual relations. Having talked about this issue many times with akki, his positions are always clear and focused. akki wants a free China, as well as a free Asia. He will work with us to make sure we both prosper.
While the other candidates have pledged their support for a free China, especially Ice_freeze, akki is perhaps the best person to work with. Look at how she outlines her views. They tell as much as possible, and she will always make her positions unambiguous. I'm sure most have seen his walls of text. They are a tribute to her dedication and focus.
This article shall conclude here. There is not much more praise I can heap on akki. The relative brevity of this article is as such because I don't want to dip into criticisms of other candidates. As usual, the Bearish Times appreciates your subscriptions and votes.
May the glorious motherland triumph!

The Best ? I would rather say A good President.
Treating each other with respect is something there has always been in Japan. A free China has also always been a point in Japan since we signed the MPP with China, when it was still free. To bad that blew in our Face with Mafia being in control 😛.
To tell the truth about Akki, he is a good president, But he has already shown a bit of what could happen with one party and a person that has the most power. When South Korea got a problematic government, Akki without any discussion decided to cut our relations with South Korea. He said he could be impeached if people though he had gone to far, but with his party at that moment already big that would never happen. Now with the NAP party having majority in congress it will almost be impossible to impeach him if it was needed.
Akki isnt a bad president, but to say the Best is to much.
BTW: He is guy. Not the girl but the cat 😉
Haha, his avatar is indeed very misleading.
Now I agree that akki might have too much power. However, we must remember that people don't always vote along party lines. Akki never asks others to vote the way he wants to vote. Most people vote however they want. If akki is truly bad, I'm sure most loyal Japanese will impeach him. Party lines is less of an issue in eRep than in the real world, where loyalties are obvious, and votes aren't so easily kept secret.
Indeed we have respect for Akki, but it's a lot of courtesy. He's friendly and leaderly, and in general we all agree with his positions...
But in the end, the question I have is this: what has he got done? The value of the JPY has remained at .008, our alliances haven't changed, we've bought no new DS or Hospital, the Food industry is still troubled, the population has remained where it is, we haven't helped China or any other resistance, et cetera. He did write a few articles, and I like that those two went into detail on particular issues, but then he stopped abruptly after saying 'Tomorrow, or sometime again today, I will continue to release the next section of these long Announcements to Japan as a whole. So stay tuned.'
To be honest, I don't see what he's gotten done. Hope I don't seem overly critical in this.
@Modelcon: I think party lines are much worse here in eRep. Players can just be two-clickers and just vote for their party every time an election comes up. They don't know anything about the government and don't care; they've just joined whatever party seems to be large and in charge.
"Akki isnt a bad president, but to say the Best is to much. "
Agree, Akki is real cool and is doing well as President but not lets to write a Hall of Fame of eRep leaders acceptation speech just yet 🙂

Yeah party lines are pretty strong in japan voting wise
As far as Parties themselves there isnt a line, some of the nominations can tell you that lol
True, the Parties are less about political opinions and more like clans.

I can see where you're going with the party lines thing. I have to agree with you here. Still, I think Congressmen, the real power behind the country, are less conscience of party lines. There isn't an article or a forum post (at least not for EVERY one) for every proposal. I bet most congressmen don't know more than 3 positions for their party. It's only Presidential politics that can have really strong party support. While you're right for Presidential politics, I disagree for Congressional management.
Of course Congress is in pretty good hands. I don't remember the last Congressional decision I disagreed with. Most of them, you know, are pretty one sided.
But there's a lot a President can do that isn't being done... Hm.
Must agree a bit with Ori there.
It was a problematic decision indeed.
But I doubt Akki will have different opinion even if he wasn't the leader of biggest party in eJapan or President of Japan.
And Inferno have a good points.
Akki haven't accomplish much until now.
But I personally think it because Akki plan is more like a long term plan not short term and also several obstacle suddenly appear so Akki unable to execute his original plan.
Let give more time to Akki to finish his plan properly.
Akki was elected only a moment after our money stolen.
Of course, he need to adapt his plan to that condition.
He hasn't able to do his original plan properly.
I believe it's consensual that every candidate wants a free China.
Now, weren't you afraid that this article would weaken yor position with the other candidates, Modelcon?
Seixo-
Well, I was gonna endorse someone anyways, and it was one of the four. Whoever I don't endorse will probably get a little but peeved, but you can't let that stop you. Of course it might weaken positions. Any endorsement will cost a little if your candidate doesn't win.
I just said that because you are a representative of the eChinese... So maybe what you say may hurt them in the long run...
But maybe it's just me thinking too much about that issue..
Ah. Hopefully no one would mess up with relations with a country just because of some small dispute with a member of that country.
Haha, let's not pretend that this endorsement will forever cripple relations with a foreign country. That's bordering a little too far on the extreme... It would only be harmed if one of these candidates decide to take this a little too personally.
Yeah... it's not a real problem. Specially in eJapan were everyone is so friendly to each other.
