World History Class 4 lectures
This class will consist of four lectures/essays by four different Professors. Each lecture/essay will be from the viewpoint of someone who has lived in another eCulture and therefore as seen the game from a different perspective. Professors are encouraged to describe how new citizens are treated and taught, what political parties and elections look like, briefly describe military service, illustrate how the community works (forums, IRC, emails, RL meetings), explain the influence of newspapers, and provide examples of perhaps some unique aspects of the game from their country. Professors will be expected to have a discussion thread on the CU for students to ask questions and discuss information with other students and the professor. The University Provost will grade the culminating activity. Pay for professors will be 2 CAD per student enrolled. After the semester the lectures/essays may be displayed in the Museum of Canada in an International section.

Students will be expected to read each lecture/essay and respond to comments on the discussion thread for each of the four lectures. This will comprise 50% of the final grade. Students will also complete a culminating activity that will be created, administered, and graded by the CU Provost that will count for the other 50% of the grade. Culminating activities will be geared toward making use of the information presented to improve eCanadian society and develop better relations with other countries. This course is suggested for those who want to become ambassadors or just want to understand the game from different viewpoint. Student fee will be 10 CAD per student with 2 CAD going to general scholarship fund.
