The Canadian Green Party Introduces a New Citizen Mentorship Program!
Andrew Mendelson
The Canadian Green Party has launched a mentorship program, available for all new citizens. If you've gained a few levels, and would like some support or someone to ask questions to, you're not too old to join!
Plato's assistance is somewhat limited, so we've created this program to help pick up where he leaves off. New citizens who are part of the program are paired with a mentor. Mentors share some advice and tips, and answer any questions asked by the new citizens. The first few days and weeks can be confusing, frustrating, or even boring if all you do is work and train. This program will help new citizens learn the ropes, provide some social interaction and introduce them to more of what eRepublik has to offer.
If you're a new citizen, and would like to participate in this program, you can leave a comment on this article, send me a private message, or head to the Canadian Green Party forums (http://canadagreenparty.forumotion.net/index.htm), and post that you'd like a mentor.

What a good idea. Helping others get started is what we need. It will take a lot work to get going. Best of luck.
I can vote for that
I'm brand new to this game (only started today) and would be very much interested in getting a mentor. I can tell just by browsing around a bit that there is a lot of depth to this game but unfortunately the obvious parts of the game is quite shallow (work, fight, train, etc...). I think this is a great idea and hope you meet with much success.
I support this. I myself am only learning the ropes but would love to help any way I can. I know how frustrating it is when starting out.
Sounds like a tremendous program set out to help fellow citizens. Help the needy not the greedy; i like that.

Hi Flec,
There's fighting in battles, joining parties and voting/running in congress, writing newspapers, creating companies, making money - however, the most fun all comes from the social ties you create and the things you work together to do. Joining a political party and becoming involved is great.
My most rewarding experiences have been by being involved with the Canadian Green party, through joining the forums and working to do something with like-minded others.
AWESOME! YAH GREEN PARTY!
Thank you. I look forward to learning more and happy to know that this option is now available to our new citizens, including myself.
