It's been a while ago before a managed to post a new article, reasons are simple I have a life and other stuff to do.
Main subject today will be 'how can I make my company rentable' ,just for you to know, there's no money growing in trees like your friends possibly told you, no, you got to spend to earn.
A few things a managed to learn while trying to make my company rentable:
1' I figured out that if you don't have at least a Q4 company, you won't get any money from it.(Assuming you don't buy you goodies for the production and you pay a salary of 190$ at least to every man)
2'It will probably be possible to make profit from company lower than Q4(Assuming this time you produce every goodies needed of at least a big part of it, you will get little profit but that's not recommanded because you will spend lots of money to buy you factory)
3' So in the end you should get your hand on a credit card right away and buy some golds while it's still with the 40% bonus and update the higher you can your company and then you will be able to make some hire/fire company that will make you like Bill Gates .
And just a tips for new player, if you want to rank up faster, go in military unit that give you goodies everyday and DO NOT sell them, use them because using weapons while fighting make you rank up faster enough.

Can you even make a profit with Q4s by hiring workers? I'm not crunching those numbers again but last time I did the answer was no and I haven't seen any changes significant enough to alter this fact.
That doesn't mean that you can't make money, you just can't make money by hiring people. Skip it. Buy fruit orchards or cattle farms and just worker manage them. Cattle farms pay for themselves after about 90 days at which point you'll be earning about 100 CAD a day for just one click/10 health/5 Q1 food/-1 fight/however you want to look at it.
Making money and hiring workers are not incompatible concepts but they're really not ones you should place too much time into considering. Even if you had the gold for a Q5 weapons company and made your own WRM we're still taking hundreds of days before you make your initial investment back, and that's including the upgrade offers.
To answer to your question Chochi, yes you can now make profit with hire/fire with Q4, calculated yesterday at a price of 0.35$ for raw material and 190$ salary, you will make some profit, not as big as tank but still, good profit and nice comment too.
Ok, I took another look. Q4 food is profitable but for Q4 weapons I'm still coming up with a small loss at 0.35 CAD/WRM.
Actually I took another look me too but I still come up with a profit of 41,28$/worker , I post here:
-salary : 190$
-RM:40 x 14 = 560 RM x 0.35(actual price)=196$
- Now sallary+cost of raw material together = 386$
-Then the price at minimum of 14 Q4 weapons:30,52$x14=427,28$
-So, Profit - Producing price = Raw Profit
427,28 - 386=41,28$ / worker

I see where you went wrong: you forgot to account for the VAT.
Everything's right up until the sale price. Once VAT is stripped away you only make 369.6 CAD for 14 Q4 weapons, using the Plato price. 369.6 - 386 = -16.4 CAD per worker.
Oh forgot that ... but how much is the VAT right now?
