Here's an idea, folks - if you want something done about this problem, spread the word on exactly how the exploit works. If *everyone* knows about it, and knows how to do it, they'll either fix it, or turn the game off completely.
Either option would be better than wasting time playing a rigged system.

1. Learn english so we can understand your bla-bla-bla
2. The gold that you buy from the market doesn't appear in the donation list, and it's a common way of transferring money. That's where that money came from, not thin air.
3. About Banca Nationala a Romaniei, an ORG that is under my administration and the official bank of Romania, just keep looking - you will see it over 5k gold in a couple of days, and over 7 k until the end of the week.

@atilla, 420 votes only proves only that there are another 420 people speaking the same english, you included. Or that there are a lot of clones outthere.
I was talking about Monetary Market. That gold was transferred from some other orgs using the monetary market (offer for 1 RON = 100 Gold, for example) so it's not visible in the donation list. But all the noobs that have no idea about that or they didn't see in their whole eRep existance more than 5 gold for a medal start jumping around and screaming "cheaters" and "gold made from thin air".
If I donate my 3000 gold now that I have in a few orgs to Banca Nationala a Romaniei, that would also be cheating ?
Question, if you buy a car, legally, and the authorities find out later that it was stolen by the guy that you bought it from, DO YOU GO TO JAIL ??? No, you don't. They take the car from you, and they send the man that stole the car to jail.
So, the fair solution would be to ban the guys who made the fake gold, and to give back Sardinia to Italy.
I've seen that 2 old spanish players and 2 of their orgs have been permanently banned, so I think those are the guys that did the fake gold.
The guys who accepted the gold, not knowing that it was fake, should NOT be banned.

The donation lists are buggy this week. I know for certain that they fail to list many known donations.
As for where to find a few thousand gold, why not do what PEACE always does: TO a new country every month and loot the treasury.

This has to be permanent ban.
It's basically like literally printing counterfeit money, which is illegal. So to make it fair, all users associated directly with that group should be booted from the site immediately, or have their privileges removed (i.e. Presidency, Congress, Owning a Business, etc.)
