Mama Svea is worried. 
Soon the storage limit of 1000 will be enforced.
We have been given a reprieve from the day 1250 target, so it is now set for day 1260; but that is pretty close too, and when it does happen We are going to have problems.
A Q5 company needs ca 500 resource units when worked by a guru** player. With a manager and 2 workers you would have to have 1500 resource units available in the morning for people to be able to work there during the day.
That is impossible with a limit of 1000.
A high Q is a big investment, so we need to be able to actually make use of it to get that investment back in profits.
So What is Plato/admins going to do on day 1260 when all hell breaks loose because all Q5 company ownwers with more than one worker are forced to fire most of them ?
I do not know, but here are some guesses, and a competition.
1) They will realize the problem BEFORE day 1260 and solve it by:
1a) give the storage a Quality values so it can be upgraded just like manufacturing companies Q1=500, Q2=1000, etc.
1b) give the storage a Quality values so it can be upgraded just like manufacturing companies Q1=1000, Q2=2000, etc.
1c) give the storage a Quality values so it can be upgraded just like manufacturing companies Q1=2000, Q2=4000, etc.
1d) Add 1000 to the limit for each Q3 or Q4 company, and add 2000 for each Q5 company.
1e) Permanently set the upper limit to 5000 or more
1f) doing something stupid that do not help, but is retained for the following month.
2) They will sit idle until the pandemonium happen, then panic and solve it by:
2a) Permanently setting the upper limit at some higher value, fx 5000.
2b) Abandon the idea of a limit entirely.
2c) Doing nothing.
3) They will do something beyond my ability to imagine:
3a) Yes, but I dont know what either.
3b) Yes they will do this: _________________________(write you own description)
There will be a prize of 2 gold to the right answer. If 2 or more players answer correctly, the winner will be found by random choice.
In case the correct answer is 3b) with the correct description added the prize will be 4 gold.
YES. You can win as much as 4 shiny gold.

I think Plato will rage quit on day 1261 when he realizes that he must be a Gold Member to have room for all his Q5 food.
What food ? He have not worked since I started checking over a month ago.
He doesn't work in a company - he works with his money-pressing-machine, and buys shitloads of manufactured goods to store in his 1000-slots storage 🙂

It could work like the "Buy new land" option. Just give some cash to plato and you get extra storage space.
I think storage will be a cash only upgrade - not in-game gold - maybe 30 Euros per month for unlimited storage
Given so that most recent changes admin has done all has focused on increasing sales, I would like to guess that a similar function will be created. We will either be able to upgrade our current storage or buy more storage buildings and by that get more space in our inventory. This would most likely cost a certain amount of the national currency

I think it will go to both upgrade and purchase additional "storage" buildings to increase your inventory. It's possible that it will go to buy with both SEK and Gold but my guess is that it will mostly be SEK.

you have to buy additional storage, either upgrading or buy new storage house and land.

you'll need to pay real life money for storage, duh...
If you can build up store rooms, the problem could be solved
it will be something like 1000 + C x 2000 + bonus, where
C = number of companies owned
bonus = RL money if you are going to pay...
They are gonna abandon the idea of limiting the storage. The now had about a month of time to implement that simple thing and still nothing happend. Propably all programmers of the team are gone, due to what happend to the game and now a bunch of economics trys to keep it all together.
ther will be possibility of upgrade but i hope it will be on national currency
My guess:
On day 1260 (or the day before) Plato will announce the new storage system. It will have:
- 1000 default storage per user.
- A progressive extra space per quality of the company owned. Q1 will receive less space than Q5. Each company will sum to the total ammount.
- The storage will appear with the new value on day 1260 but the effective storage space will remain unlimited for a few more days. In that time the citizens will have the chance to manually upgrade their storage space if needed, paying for it.
- The payment for extra space will be in gold in units of 1000.
- If a citizen has more used space than the allowed storage capacity by the day it's finally applied, he will not loose the products but won't be able to storage anything else until there is space for it.

For start they just kicked the ball up to day 1270. Ten more days to scratch their parts before actually having to do something about it.

Because of that no more answers/entries will be accepted.
However the new info is not official yet, and in any case somewhat ambiguous, So I will wait for the implementation on or before day 1275 before picking and announcing the winner.
In essence it appears to boil down to:
Additional small storage buindings (+1000) can be bought for 450 currency.
Additional large storage buildings (+9000) can be bought for 35 gold.
There is no mention of upgrading small storage buildings to large ones.
