The battle for the UK has been raging for months. This article is aimed at explaining the current events in terms that the newest player can understand, yet has all the details an experienced player looks for.

My time is limmited, so make the most of these articles when they are out. 🙂


Looking at the UK on the map

There are currently three nations (besides the UK) that hold regions that belong to the UK these are: Ireland, Canada and Poland. Ireland holds Scotland and Northern Ireland. While Canada holds the North West of England, the North East of England, Wales, the West Midlands, the East Midlands, the South West of England, the South East of England and London. And the UK's ally; Poland, holds Yorkshire & Humberside.


The war against France


About a week ago the UK pushed France off the British shore for the first time in a long while. This was possible because the UK's allies Hungary, Switzerland and Slovenia attacked France and distracted them. Switzerland was pushed back and Slovenia has been pushed back to the Italian boarder.

The UK's ally Hungary still remains in France and there in force. The UK is likely to strongly support Hunagry and other allies against France for two reasons. Firstly repaying allies for their assistance against France, and secondly because fighting France 'over there' means the UK doesn't have to fight on UK soil.


The UK, Ireland and peace


The United Kingdom and Ireland signed a peace deal a while back and are no longer at war. The deal means the UK gets to keep two Irish regions, while Ireland gets to keep two UK regions.

Scotland becomes Scotland
Northern Ireland becomes Northern Ireland
Dublin becomes Dublin
Louth becomes Louth

Ireland has Scotland and Northern Ireland, but the UK does not have Louth or Dublin. I will be interested to see if Ireland will honor this deal once the UK removes Canada from British shores.


The Canadian occupation


Recent resistance wars have failed against Canada, and Canada currently holds most of the UK, including the East Midlands.

The East Midlands which is an oil rich region and oil is not a resource that Canada gets from any of its other regions. As a result it provides Canada a weapons production bonus. Every time a Canadian citizen works they will produces an extra 2 weapons, every time they work! So lets say 1000 people work, Canada produces an extra 2000 weapons (everyday this region is held).

The UK has just won a resistance war in the South East of Englan😛 http://www.erepublik.com/en/military/battlefield/27193 and within no time a resistance war has started in London. Winning this would establish a bit of momentum and with a Canadian heavy tank applying for UK citizenship that might be Canadian firepower reduced too.

Once the battle for London is over the East Midlands must surely be the next region in line for a resistance war.


Poland in the UK


Poland has pushed the USA out of the UK and currently holds one region in the North. Poland has just signed a peace deal with Russia, and currently has no 'natural enemy' (NE). This means the possiblity of Poland declairing war on Canada and pushing them out on behalf of the UK. This would certainly speed up the removal of Canada and I think many UK citizens would welcome this move.


UK population growth/ways to sustain growth


In the last month the UK population has increased from around 2200 to over 6200! The boom of 100+ citizens daily has come to an end and today the UK brough just 24 new players to the gam. The real priority for the UK is changing quantity into quality.
