I have attempted to take an in depth view of eAustralia current military capabilities by using public information as my source, these are my findings.

The military is comprised of 3 main sections, Dropbears (commando/SAS), ADF (regular military) and the AMC Redbacks (medics). This report will attempt to look at the Dropbears and ADF’s fighting capabilities and form conclusions based on the evidence at hand.

DropBears

Consisting of a reported 18 soldiers including commanders, their orders are classified and many are not located on eAustralian soil presumably under orders. Their stats are as followed;

Avg Str 9.649
Avg min damage per single encounter 94.30
Avg max damage per single encounter 133.69
Avg total individual damage per battle 1352.45
Total damage per battle 24,344.19

For 18 soldiers these are impressive stats but not enough to save a nation or turn the tide in a battle, I also note that 1 member has failed to meet the requirement set out to be a Dropbear so I would question the process that occurs when selecting DropBears.

The ADF

I attempted to gather the same statistics as reported with the DropBears but was met with confusion and chaos.

There was no way for me to accurately collate data on this arm of the military as it is in what I regard as “a state of disarray” .

Of the 51 reported members of the ADF, 35 are current eAustralian citizens, the rest have emigrated to other countries and should no longer be considered as members of the ADF unless their orders sent them outside of eAustralian territories also, 7 of the 51 where found to be “inactive” or AWOL and again should not be considered as part of our military force.

Some members of the ADF are also members of the Dropbears which is a cause for confusion as they should not be listed twice under different regiments of our military; some members of the ADF are also members of the parliament which can render them ineffective if their orders called for them to move.

My observation is that the current military program is not effective in maintaining proper procedure or an organized military force and does not seem to afford any benefits to the members of the ADF other than a title. It is my opinion that the ADF branch itself has failed to increase the security of our eNation by not equipping, training or helping to advance the soldiers in its branch.

I recommend that parliament begin looking at avenues of bolstering our military, I know that it might not be seen as needed since any attacking country would need to get through eIndonesia first, but we should not allow ourselves to rest on the laurels of another countries military, as eHungary has shown, all it takes it a little publicity for a minor nation to turn into a powerhouse.

I encourage all citizens to voice their concerns or idea’s on improving the country at the eAustralian forums located at http://forum.erepublik.com.au/ and sign up to the defence force to help bolster our ailing strength.
