The Art Of War 1294

Day 1,294, 14:11 Published in Canada Canada by Quado

Lets face it. In a war between Sweden and us, we stand no chance. They have more citizens, more allies, a stronger economy and are much more united then us. Looking at these factors, it seems like a hopeless war for us. We’ve managed to irritate our allies with what was essentially a training war with the UK. And our allies need as much help as we do anyways.

It’s not hopeless though, but we can’t do the predictable. How we are fighting is the equivalent of old age fighting, we’re lining up our armies, and shoot till there’s a winner. That can work if you have superior forces… we don’t though.

Sun Tzu mentioned that warfare is the way of deception. In the first chapter of his book, he goes on to say these things

When committing your troops, feign inactivity. – we know we have Swedes reading our newspapers.. Public orders are public.

If they are angry, perturb them – angry people make rash decisions. Angry Swedes may overlook the rational choice.

If they are united, cause them to separate. – We can do this by attempting propaganda with there citizens or allies, or by splitting there territories, and cutting them off from the capitol.

Attack where they are unprepared, and go forth where they least expect it.

Which brings me to the main point I can bring up, Resistance wars. They can act as damage drains against Sweden, and if we win some, (either through luck, or by moving some militia’s out to help win them,) we can easily screw up there plans and economy. How much did losing Alaska cost us? 20% productivity, and I’m pretty sure that that was started as a damage drain….

TL😉R?? This is mostly meant as a letter to people who have some kind of leadership position, as it’s hard being a one man army. And if you’re in a leadership position and are unable to read, shame on you 😛
