The Army (and SSZNDS) Say Goodbye to a Leader

Day 910, 13:27 Published in USA USA by Joseph Schmo
Here lies Tremaine. Day 340-Day 909. A soldier from start to finish.

That was the most recent shout from Lt. Gen Tremaine, former XO of the U.S. Army and, more importantly, former XO of the Super Stealth Zombie Ninja Death Squad. Tremaine has had an illustrious, albeit low-key, career in the United States Armed Forces and with the SSZNDS, and I would like to take a moment to recognize some of his accomplishments.

When I first met Tremaine, he was the Commanding Officer of the U.S. Army Fourth Division. At the time, the Army's First and Second Divisions struggled immensely, however his Division thrived. Despite the Army's struggles, he stuck with the Fourth, and when Armandez took over as the Army's Commanding General (and I as the Army's XO), the Fourth proved that it was one of the most capable units in the military, and Tremaine proved himself to be one of the most capable officers in the military.

In all honesty, Tremaine deserved to be LTG under Armandez, not me. For whatever reason, however, I was brought over from the NG First Division to help command the Army. I'm still not sure why he did not get the job, but he certainly deserved it. In any case, after I became General, he once again got snubbed out of the LTG job, as the JCS assigned Knojerakk as my Lieutenant General. While Knoj certainly deserved the job, there is not doubt that Tremaine did as well.

I do not take credit for saving the Army (and, quite frankly, I don't think anyone gives me that kind of credit). That being said, under my command, it was Knoj, Tremaine, and NXNW (Tremaine's XO) who played the most vital role in saving the Army from being dissolved. Without Tremaine and his Fourth Division, I tend to wonder what would have happened to the Army.

As many of you know, while I had command of the Army, I also took control of the Army Third Division and transformed it into the SSZNDS. I offered Tremaine a command position, and he gladly accepted. He also played a major role in making the Death Squad one of the most deadly forces in the world. The Zombies would like to join me in thanking Tremaine for all of his hard work with them.

Joking aside, Tremaine truly was one of the greatest officers in eUS history. Although he never got command of the Army, which he truly deserved, he remains one of our best, and I am proud to call him one of my friends in eRepublik.

I hope you come by to visit us occassionally, and best of luck in RL Tremaine.
