The below lists all the recipients of a Summer Boblo Award. These rewards reflect events of the past six months and are intended to be fun, prestigious and an opportunity for reflection!

No doubt this raises some questions - never heard of these awards? Wondering who this Bob guy was? I got you covered!

What is Boblo?

Bob Boblo was a preeminent eUK’er and early CP of the eUK. He spearheaded moves to make the forum a more interesting place and to encourage fun and community amongst eUK players. He would wittily puncture the ego’s of those who took eRep too seriously, and was always minded as to the importance of keeping eRepublik fun and engaging for everyone. His Awards were one such way of achieving this. Advocates of this mindset described themselves as Bobloists, which developed into an e-faith (there were a few back in the day) and was looked after by the ‘Spamican Church’.

What are the Boblo Awards?

The Boblo Awards were handed out by Bob Boblo every six months. They were delivered with humour and panache, and become a cornerstone of the e-social calendar. A long list would be posted and citizens would pray they had been included for the charming complementary awards rather than the cutting and satirical ones!

I realise I walk in the footsteps of giants resurrecting these awards but as new life is breathed into the eUK community what better way is there to honour one of the Godfathers of that community by continuing his awards program. Not only that but I will throw in some honorary titles from the Kingly estates to boot! (Listed in brackets).

Most framed pictures - Gavin C. Mister (Honorarily Knighted : Sir Mister)

Artsy-ist - Rory Winterbourne II - (Honorarily titled : Lord Gainsborough)

Best politician (Right wing libertarian) - Septuagenarian

Saviour of Spam award - Mister Immanuel Kant (Confirmed as Pope of the Spamican Church)

The most-vim-in-single-day award - 11ue

Biggest Spammer - Sambo223

Most confusing political happenstance - Congressmen suffering from vanishing messages
