Okay so I guess most of you heard about the 15th, and the declaration of PEACE attack on USA. Some say it’s just a joke, some that it’s a distraction against PEACE attack somewhere else, some are eager for it. So, let’s look exactly at what are the possible targets for PEACE on the 15th, tomorrow.

America is big, not only the most populated country in eRepublik but also with the most regions. 51 Regions, wow, considering Canada is bigger and has only 13 and Russia 12, I think the Admins went a little overboard here but let’s not get into that. So any invasion would take weeks, allowing America to sign as many MPPs as they can find, they already have 16. This would be quite costly and very dangerous for the nations attacking if not suicidal activating all those MPPs. Any attack would have to come from a nation that is already at war with America and has active MPPs, witch would even the odds a bit. Currently this is Russia (10 MPPs), Portugal (10 MPPs) or possibly but not likely France (3 MPPs). A coordinated attack from all 3 when America is distracted, would possible be able to take a region or two, but not move any further.

So would PEACE do it? Sure why not. Attack as a little payback for American intervention in past wars, and just to show no one is untouchable. America has major flaws, they have only 2 q5 hospitals (Florida, New Jersey) and most of its population is located right on the boarded with the enemy. A good timed attack from Portugal and France could succeed in taking Florida and New Jersey. I wouldn’t take this out as an option; PEACE currently doesn’t have much to do, if they don’t find a target they might turn on themselves out of boredom. Hungary and Italy are almost done in Germany, Indonesia is just training and freeing some useless regions left over from the Romania war, Turkey is the only one currently suffering resistance wars but they were never a big PEACE player. The destruction of key American regions would solidify PEACE as eRepubliks biggest power and would be a massive booster to the alliance.

Like I said there are not many options for PEACE.

Option 1: Attack either, Sweden, Poland, Romania, UK, Norway, Finland would be a single PEACE country against lots of old Atlantis MPPs. So it’s not likely. Croatia is even less since it already has 9 active MPPs against Hungary.

Option 2: Canada, has an active war with France (7 MPPs). However, attack can only come in Nova Scotia. Most, of Canada’s population and valuable regions are further out; it would take a bit for France to get there. Even after the initial attack, America would probably counterattack France to buy Canada time to sign lots of MPPs. Leaving France with only Nova Scotia, and no longer a safe border because of the current Canadian MPPs. I don’t believe France wants to put themselves into that spot.

Option 3: Attack on Spain Is most likely. Spain has been a pain to its neighbors Portugal, France and Italy, attacking all three quite a few times only to be beaten back few days later. Spanish attack on Italian Sardinia was brilliant and perfectly timed, destroying Italian only q5 hospital at the time. Even though, Spain and Italy are now at peace, Spain still has open war with Portugal (9 MPPs) and France (6 MPPs). It also has few q5 hospitals bordering Portugal, but more importantly Spain is the only steady supplier of iron for most of the former Atlantis members. Its destruction would be a major blow to the Alliance, and very enjoyable to PEACE.

Now the above are the possible options for PEACE, but it will probably not happen tomorrow. The fighting in Germany will still take about 2 days, and Turkey is probably calling all PEACE for help right now because of the resistance war in Central Greece, another high iron region very valuable and important to USA and Canada as a possible alternative to Spanish iron. However, in few days we might see something big, I certainly hope so.
