That Was Fun!

Day 829, 09:15 Published in Ireland Ireland by Edana Savage

This will be brief. Well, brief for me anyway.

That Was Fun!

I know I keep saying this, but that was the most fun I've had in the six months I've been on here. I'm really proud of you all. You performed better than I anticipated. There is some potential there.

Things did not go as smoothly as I would have liked. I have seen the comments about weps not getting to people. We will be analyzing why. My orders were followed, which means there is a break in the system somewhere. We will find it and fix it. Keep in mind the Brits have been at this a lot longer than we have. They have a lot more practice. All things considered, I think we did quite well.

A BIG Thank You!

I want to thank all of those who came to give us a hand. It was appreciated. It truly was. Did I see that number right? 36,174 in damage? Damn, Marius! That is some serious damage!

There were several groups involved including but not limited to Seal Team 6, the Canadians, the Croations, Indian government, and so many more. It was a pleasure to see you ladies and gentlemen in action.

To the Brits

It was a good battle. I really did enjoy it. Well fought. I tip my cap to you. I hope you didn't take my razzing too seriously. It's all part of the game and it got my people riled up to fight. I certainly don't take your razzing of me seriously. 🙂 It's all in good fun and part of the game.

For us, it was something we always wanted to do and instead of talking about it, we did it. We knew that we would get a spectacular battle out of it. Not just a training war, but a war that meant something to us.

So to answer your question, no, we won't be coming back for NI. Once you took it back that was the end of it. We were going to let it play out and it did to a very satisfying conclusion.

Moving Forward

And before the rest of you groan about it, there is a risk/reward factor you must observe. This conflict had a minimal outlay in resources for us. The benefits far outweighed the risks. Now if we pressed forward and tried to go back for it the risks far outweigh the benefits.

No, what we are going to do is analyze our performance, find our weak spots, and fix them. Then we are going to help out those who helped us in our time of need. We are going to create a v2 conversion economy. We are going to continue to build our infrastructure.

It's been nice not fighting with each other. I really hope that lasts, but I know it won't. That's how we are. We argue. We discuss. We kiss and make up and start all over again.

It was quite pleasurable for that brief shining moment. I think that was the best part of all this.

Ireland was unified.

Hmmm. A wee bit longer than brief. Just a titch. 😉
