Wall of text warning.

To be honest a lot didn't expect Russia to be able to do what they are doing as of now. In the First place Russia has always been known as a PEACE vassal for which they are the puppets to do the bidding of PEACE itself.

But lately due to some actions within the their alliance they were given the go to spearhead one of the major assaults towards American soil. Maybe because Indonesia didn't want to start it and not know what the consequences might be for opening a war with such a number of MPP's. As usual they let their lackeys do their job and go head on first. But to everyones surprise they succeeded and got more than what they could have bargained for.

Now look at Russia high and mighty. Sitting next to the big boys Indonesia and Hungary. Providing their insights on what they want to happen. As some may know having power is one of the major factors that would give you a bigger opinion within this alliance.

This led them to believe that they can do anything or do anything that they like. Now having to face one of the big decisions whether to sign a peace treaty with the US. Wherein the US has to pay 200 gold for normal regions and 300 gold for high regions. Not to mention the fact that their allies would be able to secure key regions such as California and Alaska for at least 4 months but most likely it would have been more than that. This in all honesty would have really benefited their alliance in everyway possible considering the economic boosts of these said regions.

But as Fate may have seem. Russia did not want to sign the treaty protesting that they would be letting off the US easily. Saying that " We gone through to hell paying you back for the Urals why are you letting them off so easily? especially when we were allies and they are our enemy." Although Zoli pointed out an excellent argument within his article about the benefits of the said treaty. It fell on deaf ears, Russia continued on the offensive and the peace treaty was not signed (IMHO probably the worst move in the war as of yet. Even worse than Spain losing the 16k gold). The Russian wanted more gold, they wanted to get more out of their hardships, they wanted to gain more benefits from this war. In short they became greedy.

Now with all of this being said and done. We will now see it through the beauty of hind sight of what has now happened. We will also look at it if the treaty would have been signed and you decide whether Russia really did the right move.

If the treaty was signed.

1. PEACE takes control of major key regions within the US. Providing a tremendous economic boost to the countries owning them.

2. PEACE gets 4 months break from war, restock, rebuild, and recharge for another push.

3. PEACE could concentrate their attacks on other parts of the world. Providing a bigger chances of Winning.

4. PEACE will be owning the said key regions without hostilities and problems to keep the money flowing.

5. PEACE countries of Indonesia, Russia and Portugal will get a bargain out of the other non key regions getting 200 and 300 gold respectively.

6. PEACE will not be responsible for liberating the regions that has been taken already.

7. PEACE would have free wargames for a few weeks.

Now that you have seen its benefits now let us look at what is happening now because they did not sign the treaty.


1. Russia is losing the regions that they once held and would have been sold for 200 and 300 gold respectively.

2. Not only does Russia lose their regions but they are losing them against themselves. They are the one RW the regions and freeing it for the sake of blocking out Canada which is a fail as of now. Kinda handy don't you think thanks Russia.


3. Indonesia lost the regions that they previously held from the American Populous but are keeping some key regions especially California. One of the main region dicussed in the treaty. Although they are still keeping it. I doubt they would do for long Cause the last fight made them spend more or less 10000 gold in estimate for tanks only. Not to mention private investments. Now really is Cali worth that much? If the treaty was signed weren't you supposed to keep it free of hostility? Thanks Russia.


4. Portugal got way less payment from the original treaty compared to this one. Thus for me Portugal didn't get anything out of this they were as I said used by the PEACE governing nations of Indonesia and Hungary. Thanks Russia


5. Turkey well I am not saying that Greece could not kick them out of their homeland but. since the treaty was not signed US refugees flocked towards Greece and stayed there creating an even larger population. Thanks Russia


6. France lost pretty much everything they had gained in this war in the Spanish side and almost in Canada. because Indonesian tanks are too busy protecting the so called California key region in which they would have gotten it free of charge with the treaty. Thanks Russia


7. Last and certainly not the least. The even so dreaded uncertainty that they can still win this war. With them losing tons of their fronts, one can only wonder if they can still actually win this one. Now even greater unrest's burst up within their alliance in which the smaller weaker nations are now starting to realize that they are just being used. Well all I can say is Thank you Russia for giving pretty much demoralizing your entire alliance.


In the end I want to give my Salute and thanks to Russia for giving us these wonderful gifts. 07 Russia may you provide us with more moves like this. Hurrah!
