Thank you.

Day 1,489, 05:45 Published in Malaysia Malaysia by Firebourne

Good evening fellow eMalaysians.

As most of you have been informed, I've been appointed as the new Minister of Communication. As I am highly inexperienced with this job, I hope that I can rely the senior members for help should I require the necessary advices. I would like to thank Marcotje for entrusting me with this job. I only hope I can do the best for his eGovernment and for the general public of eMalaysia.

Before I begin with my new job, first I would like to address a serious problem that's happening in eMalaysia. As most of you probably realize, eMalaysians (especially those real life Malaysians) are not quite active in the game. I guess perhaps with the problem the real world is facing at the moment, nobody would really have the time to worry about the game so much. Let's admit it, most of us are here for the battles and the "clicking" sessions as those activities only require less than 5 minutes to complete all of them. However, publishing an article may require time and probably the write would need to really think long and hard about what he or she intends to write in the article.

Now, especially those involved in politics, I strongly urge to publish articles to counter arguments rather than just posting comments in articles. We need real debates in the eNation. If you disagree with a policy, publish the article why you disagree. Stop making personal attack. Stop bringing real life matters into the game. Be objective and fight for eMalaysians. Its bad enough that most of us are living in a world where real life politicians troll us and crap nonsense, do we really need that in the game too? If you have an idea to improve the nation, publish an article. Don't do things without clarifying the actual reasons why you people have taken such actions. At the end of the day, eMalaysians want responsible, credible and enthusiastic politicians. Not some lame, arrogant and ignorant representatives.

Me, like many eMalaysians, would appreciate it if the politicians in eMalaysia use the media feature as a way to communicate their ideas, objection and support for any action the eGovernment takes. Stop attacking and bashing people under the comments section. Be civilized for once. If you disagree with something, allow an actual democratic process to take place. Stop assuming everyone is an imbecile. I've said from time to time, the problem with eMalaysian politicians, from all parties is the lack of communication. I hope from this day on, you politicians (including congressmen) would consider communicating with the eCitizens. They need to know that their representatives are doing their jobs.

That's it for now. Good luck to all eMalaysians.

Regards,
Firebourne
