What's Important

Ten years ago my life changed, I had no idea how much. Between jobs, frustrated, tired of dealing with crap and bored, I was randomly looking at stuff on the internet. 17" laptop with dial up modem connection that worked reasonably well back then.

Today I look back and cringe. I won't bother you with details but must say I've had problems. Medical conditions have severely changed things. No longer working, just doing the basics is a job in itself. I do thank God for seeing me through it all. He has a habit of showing up at just the right time.

115 Hard Worker achievements. Of everything I've done here I consider that my greatest achievement. If you don't remember, back in the day if you got to day 29 and forgot to work the counter reset to 0! 115 continuous months of work/train clicking. 😖

5 CP achievements. Switzerland, Australia and,of course, Canada. Someone that follows such things told me that 4 CPs in different countries was the record. Don't know what it is now.

Minister of Foreign Affairs. I'm very pleased that Canada's leadership has let me roost in this position. With the gift of gab, this is undoubtedly my favorite part or the game.

Media Mogul achievement. Never thought I'd get this one. Prior to much political activity I enjoyed contributing to and also following the Media. BTW, that's an honest 1000 subscriptions, I've never swapped subs.

Everything else. Well it's hard to play a game like this for ten years and not do stuff. My favorites were interacting with folks. United Independents Party, Pickle's Patriots, Shaved Beaver Party were great fun. Tanking like a madman when the US had us wiped years ago. Watching Canadian government morph into what it is today. I could write a book.
