Join the new world

Wow. I log on tonight and see the world has fallen into utter chaos. Between prominent eAmericans possibly being traitors, ePoland losing the Rhone Alps region, and so on, I feel dumbstruck. I suggest all Technocrats do their best to read most if not all the top rated articles in the eUS at the moment to be able to develop an understanding of everything that is going on. Well, that is enough of non-party events and intrigue, sexy sexy intrigue. Time to discuss party stuff. First of all, sorry for my reduced presence in game. I am pretty busy with real life stuff and admittedly was somewhat peeved at my articles being taken down. Apparently I am too vulgar for eRepublik standards. I suppose I will attempt to write humorous articles without relying on the shock value of referring to animals' scrotums and what not. Oh who am I kidding? Taking that away from me leaves me about as funny as a bear without his tricycle. ;_;


How can you heartless folks take away his tricycle? He LOVES his tricycle. Btw, I am implying that I f*$%ing love cursing. How can you take that away from me? I guess I'll have to play ball seeing as that I have no clue how to design my own game. ;_;

So, party stuff. Gnaeus and I have expanded the forums in order to help all of the party easily discuss their thoughts. Now there are discussion areas! Yeah, amazing stuff. We blew our own minds by how ridiculous this achievement was. Now there are helpful links for beginners to become better acquainted with the game. Feel free to discuss anything you want in the forums just as long as you keep your posting legal (srs no baby pron), moderately civil, and in the appropriate category.

Commune?

I have also started a poll asking party members if they would like to work in a party run commune. You can find the poll here: http://tinyurl.com/33xwps5. This is an initiative I really want as much possible input on from all of you. Communes are excellent ways to lower the costs of militias and to increase interaction between party members, fostering an attachment between members and to the party. I am willing to put forward the mullah for it, so it will not come from party funds. If you did not know, I could not use party funds for this anyway.

Obviously, I believe getting a party militia going would be awesome. We might not be a ton of people but one must start somewhere. Besides, for me this whole party thing is more to bring people of similar interests together. I do not believe to many real world causes really can apply within the constraints of this game beyond mere grand standing, so I am doing my best to find ways to make this a fun party. "Blowing up stuff" together through an in game militia seems like a really great way to do that.

FYI: you can find party polls (heh heh) in the party initiatives of our party forums. I will do my best to make everyone in the party aware of polls when I or someone else initiates them.

Officers?

I know it has already been a week since I took power as TECHNOCRAT PRIME but with a bunch of real life stuff popping up all of a sudden, I have yet to ask others if they wish to be officers in my cabinet to help provide ideas for party development or to help carry out initiatives. Please, if you are interested, pm me in game and I will gladly do my best to find a place for you. If you have an idea, talk to me about it. If you have talked to me about an idea and I for some reason completely forgot, please pm again and talk to me.

Congress

Remember that if you can, you should move to Vermont to cast a vote for Gnaeus Progenitor for Congress. Though he is running under the APF flag, he is actually still a part of the Technocratic Party. We cannot run him directly since we are not a top tier party... yet. I have some spare tickets if anyone wishes to use them to vote for our guy. Remember, voting actually provides you with experience.
