I was glad the peace terms were posted by our CP officially, however it took much persuading to do. I was given peace proposal by a concerned citizen in the Imperial Diet, who noticed my calls for transparency and openness. However, don't be fooled by the way Sumeragi is selling these terms, they will not bring stability or peace to Japan they will bring the latter, Japan once upon a time ago was forced to sign a peace almost identicle to this very one with China, it wasn't until I called the American CP and MoFA into deal with them that got them talked down and China paying rent 200% more then the province worth. He thought something like this should not be decided on without the whole of eJapan knowing. Now let's get right into the peace proposal shall we?
This is the fat Taiwanese baby that we are being forced to feed or face destruction, yeah that right the people who came offering us friendship are forcing this down our throat, so let me ask is this the friendship you all expected?
1. Release all land except Chugoku for eJP
Seems reasonable enough to me, and would almost be extremely fair given the circumstances, however when you get to the rest of the points you will see how ridiculous this actually is and almost means nothing.
2. eJP pay 450 gold for eROC within one month (preferably before Congress elections)
Wait so Japan gets all regions right except for Chugoku... so we are basically giving them a province for free, because there is no clause in the deal to ever get it returned legally with out breaching the entire contract. Which is very irresponsible of our government in general and makes zero sense. There should ALWAYS be a clause to having an integral eJapanese province returned to it. 450 Gold though? Really? This is a lot of gold, especially one for a country of our size, and is humiliating really. As I said before, Japan should retain it's pride not be treated like a prostitute. But get this, they are willing to pay rent for Chugoku, BUT after we give them 450 gold. I am no genius, nor will I pretend to be, but WHAT THE F**K? We give the 450 gold and THEN they pay rent? Are you guys in the government building who voted yes on crack?
3. eROC rents Chugoku, and eJP helps eROC in Chugoku RWs when there is danger of success. Rent rate is 0/20/30/40/40/40~ gold, with each segment being a month.
This is probably the most ironic point of the treaty. For all of those who do not understand, they would pay 0 Gold for the first month of having the region, so that means 30 days after having the regional bonus they would pay absolutely nothing, after we have given them 450 of our own gold which we have no choice but to pay within one month if this passes. Then 60 appromately 60 days after holding on to Chugoku they would finally pay a mere 20 gold, keep in mind this is after we have given them 450 gold 30 days prior to receiving 20 gold. Then 90 days after it would be 30 gold, so a total of 50 gold total, and after that it would be 40 gold monthly. So let's do some basic math here to learn how long it would take for them to pay back that 450 gold.
Okay, are you done doing the math? I am, and it would take a total of 13 months for them to pay back the 450 Gold that we agreed to pay in the treaty. Yeah, that's right 13 Whole months, that is over a year before we see any return on that 'investment'.
4. eROC helps eJP get back into TEDEN.
Okay, I lied this is the most ironic peace term, do you guys in government know that the Kazawanese can't even get into TERRA and EDEN? They have been bitching about it for quite a while now and it is a point of split in Chinese/Kazawanese relations. How can they help us when they themselves are not in TERRA or EDEN? Again, what the f**k are you guys in government smoking?
5. eJP help eROC RW in eSK.
I am quite baffled by this one, on top of paying for their rent upfront for 13 straight months and an estimated 395 days they want us to spend our currency and resources to fight to keep there imperial territory? This is madness, plain and simple it's insanity. Giving them 450 gold isn't enough apparently we have to be there puppet soldiers as well and use our own resources for the military to fight to keep there land. I am the only one who is going "WTF?" or are we all collectively doing it as we read the peace terms?
Final Thoughts
Our president and her band of lackeys are completely out of touch, and you know the sad thing? They fear they are going to lose power so they are trying to push this through at the very last second, that is why they will not wait for a new month. That is why with so much dissent surrounding Sumeragi she is recalling her bid to run again as president and letting Mii run. While I personally have a great respect for Mii she has shown that she will most likely endorse the proposal in the diet and push on with Sumeragi's own policies, I haven't been proven wrong on the matter and I really hope that I do.
My questions to you Sumeragi is, why did you want me to hold off for a while before posting this article when I brought it to your attention and forced you to post it yourself? Why are you trying to rush this proposal through now? You and your toadies wish to sell Japan like a cheap prostitute to the Kazawanese and for what? So we don't get wiped? Well let me tell you something, once this is signed there goes all credibility for Japan, you have effectively sold and international prestige we ever had, any pride we had and a long list of other things. I find this absolutely disgusting to say the very least. What exactly are we gaining from this agreement? We lose a signicant amount of gold, and most of all we are paying for them renting our own region. So we are paying ourselves over a 13 month long period. I am just wonder where the hell are the benefits? There are NONE listed, they have all been debunked, I am really hoping I get a response from someone who can address these concerns, because really I am shocked.
Before I end this article, I will post a list of the current voters and what they are in favor for.

Why I wanted to hold this off? Because it was initially the request from eROC so that they could pass the terms without inciting their own war party. I published the terms after confirming the passing by the eROC Congress, so there wouldn't be any trouble from that particular side.
All other points had been addressed numerous times in the forum and in article comments. Please look them up and then come back to me.

Actually no Sumeragi you have failed to address ANY concerns at all, in fact you deflected them by bringing up an invasion of South Korea over two years ago in 2010. Which in itself was completely irrelevant.

2. 450 gol😛 Let's face it, the whole reason they've been occupying up to Chubu (aside from the usual "possible PTO!" excuse) is because of Deer. While to us 20% in food is nothing, that is an enormous benefit to eROC which has been struggling under a lack of food recently. They're giving away this valuable region and also not invading us (again, TEDEN oversight) for 450 gold. It's large to us, but it's also a loss to eROC.
Vote yes, allows more time for eJapan to grow and increase its strength in both diplomacy and population. Voting no could cause a war, where we still don't match up in active population, and if wiped, eJapan wouldn't lose just regions, we would lose activity. A lot of you old players didn't even show in till AFTER eJapan started to recover, that tells me you'll leave as soon as activity decreases from losing a war like in the last invasion you weren't here for.
In the long run voting yes will be more beneficial, giving us more time to grow and increase our nation's strength. As someone mentioned to me, there's a chance eROC will just get bored and invade us again, would you rather have it later where our chances have increased or have war now over a little humility just to get wiped and be humiliated even more and then to lose all the growth we have gained?
3. This is connected to Term 2: Wold you rather have a congress and thus allowing us to continuously get money from the treasury, or just give us everything? You're missing the hidden costs of the alternative, which is no donation from treasury, no extra gold from congress elections, loss of all resources, continuous wasting of money in battles. We have been able to give out MU supplies and Senpai/Kouhai funds because we have a Congress. Taking these costs out is short-sightedness.
4. Main reason why we can't be in TEDEN: EDEN's black list. ePRC has been blocking our removal from that list because of eROC. If eROC no longer blocks this, then we will be removed from the blacklist soon.
5. I'm looking to be allies with eROC along the path of being pro-TEDEN. eROC never expected any real help from eJapan, but they would want to avoid our citizens pouring millions into those eROK RWs. Basically, this is more of a "we wouldn't fight agaisnt eROC" than active help.

You guys should have talked to Terra instead of dealing with the Taiwanese mafia. Going this route only proves you're not a real country, and just an extension of eROC.
This was the coward's way out, and the lazy approach to diplomacy. "Give them what they want and they'll leave us alone".
You know why they want that money? Because Taiwan is nearly broke from stretching its military too far. There's no way they could have taken Japan back, especially with all the MPPS it had.
An Eden "blacklist" is a complete joke anyway. The only country in Eden with power is China (because all their elites are hiding there), and China only fights for itself. Croatia, Romania, Greece, and whoever else only fight in European battles anyway. They're a waste of time. That's why Canada ditched Eden this month and went full Terra.
Next month's USA president could have easily helped, especially if it was Glove, since Emerick is his Secretary of State, and a huge supporter of eJapan (he saved us last time China tried to conquer eJapan).
This lack of homework and insight on Sumeragi's part, and the quick agreement of congress, just goes to show the inexperience and laziness of the eJapanese government. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
