TaipOuz Rising

Everyone knows that eRepublik is a small community who lasts for seven years, yes that big! But a streaming comes to knows more about this game : Eclypsia.

For eBelgium, the representative is TaipOuz. The goal is to test the game to understand the mechanisms then give some pieces of advices.

But a question comes to me (and maybe to other): is it necessary to bring a cohort of players to test the game?

I mean, look TaipOuz, in a little more than one week, he becomes:

-Prime minister;
-President of the largest party (more than 200 members !?);
-Chief of the largest MU (idem!);
-Owner of 25 society builders.

So, is is a test or an invasion ? Of course some players are scared. Take a look about numbers: if all of them are mobilised, they can take the Congress and the presidency, and then all the power! (ok, only for mad paranos... PTO!)

But, be not defeatists. This is only an hypothesis. Maybe the phenomena will not last long. Maybe TaipOuz will be nice by letting the democracy working correctly.

we can't control a babyboom, sure if TaipOuz wanted to be president this month he would be elected.

I'm happy he is waiting to be VP to know the job of president before to be on the list

The community can do a lot in this kind of situation. We will see 🙂

I see a majority of those new players inactive at the moment so I guess only 10% at max will remain active. So no big deal to be worried about.

I'm part of the new arrival on the game (even if i had an account long time ago) but you shouldn't be worry about TaipOuz and his followers. Sure that make a babyboum in eBelgium but he's trying to understand the game and no to rush it and destroy everything.

And i'll say more that "we"', Belgians, are lucky instead of French community because "Ruurk Rage" (eclypsia owner) is already France's President (even if he's already part of the ecommunity since 2009) with over 1700 members.

But i'll say that you shouldn't worry about him at all. i think he will be a good learner as a prime minister.

Ps: it's my vision of these events and i hope that i'm not in the wrong but thank's to him, i got back to eRepublik to see the change after years so. it's not so bad for myself 🙂

This post translates different point of view about the situation because in eBelgium, it was very odd to see 200 citizen coming in a few days. We are familiar with a small community and now we have to stand with a big one.

But don't worry, I trust you and wait the following weeks.

I think we shouldn't assume to quickly that the baby boomers are going to destroy our country. Ofcourse it's something that is easily concluded from their reason to join (simply testing out the game etc.). But i believe that they don't have any intentions to harm us and sincerely hope they won't. Furthermore, a baby boom is what the Belgian community has been hoping if not to say dreaming of having since the first day i joined ( october the 11th 2009) and it might not have gone like most of us pictured it how it would go but heck it's what we wanted all those years!
I say we should just try and make the best of it and i'm sure we will...

Taipouz was wrong with take a side in CP elections. He needed to stay neutral.
Also eVlad was wrong to make prime minister because Taipouz did nothing for Belgium until now.

Also Eclypsia recruit for their leaders in Erepublik, only friends of Eclypisia Belgium and France gain, the rest lose.

Other country don't have a babyboom. So the way Eclypsia recruit for Erepublik is wrong, Erepublik win nothing...

Babyboom is good, but not this way.

We live in a democracy so everybody has the right to choose a side from the beginning, if he had chosen a the other side would you have refused his support then?
a babyboom is always in one country and we have seen already more than one in other country's, I do not understand what you mean with eRepublik does not win here, 200 more or less means nothing for eRep, but it means a lot for eBe.
The only risk we have here, (my opinion) is that in their search for knowledge about the game they will try to run before they can walk, ingame it looks simple, but their was and still is a lot of work done to keep our country where it is now, diplomatic negotiations aren't seen directly but there are always some going on, and a new player do not know the channels to keep this going on, so he could harm years of work if he is to hasty
