Switzerland Can Into Luna [From Paul Proteus]

Dear Switzerland

It's Paul, I am coming here with an offer for an alliance you can't refuse; One word Luna.


Luna is a defensive alliance between neutral and small countries (who does that remind you of?), and according to the Luna doctrine the goals of Luna include

A) Protecting Alliance Members
While Luna couldn’t stand up to a power like Poland, if a slightly bigger nation (remember Germany?) attacked us we would have support and some people having our backs for once

B] Protecting from a PTO
This doesn’t mean yelling “SNP PTO” or “EDEN PTO” or “American PTO”, this means if we are in serious shit, they will help us out, again, they got our backs, but only if we want them to ofc, they aren’t going to run in to “help us” if we don’t want that.

C)Building better relations between member nations and a stronger international community
Recently Austria has been a bro to us, I don’t see why we can’t expand that to some other great countries in similar situations as our own (by the way, Guess who is a potential member for Luna as well? Austria, you guessed right)



Now Luna may seem like an almost “silly” name but theres a cool story for that too!

Naming and Logo
Although the alliance was formed, the name and logo were both placeholders, open to changes. The name Luna was initially chosen for a number of reasons:
It is the opposite of Sol, the Sun, or the embodiment of everything gone wrong in an alliance.
It 'fits' with other eRep alliance names: ATLANTIS, the sea; Terra, the earth; EDEN, the biosphere; Sol, the sun; and Luna, the moon.
It highlights the fact that the alliance "can into space".
It is a simplistic and easy-to-draw object (the moon).
"It signifies the dream that followed the various moon landings—the only place Man has gone in space, beyond its home planet, and arguably its greatest accomplishment as a species. For how long has your nation been dreaming of having true friends that will stick by you? I want to make that happen for all of us."

Current countries in negotiations include Austria, India, Israel, Malaysia, Philippines, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan and Uruguay.
Italicized nations have passed bills through Congress to join Luna

Now Austria is already our bro, and I look forward for us to build better relations with our other friends.
