Swiss Minister of Education and Population - Tutorial

Day 1,783, 02:11 Published in Switzerland Serbia by Hoffman12

Hello new citizen, you are now a citizen of the New World

I am Swiss minister of Education and Population and I will guide you here.

eRepublik is online game like many others so you do not need to download something, you just need Web browser (IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome…).

You are a part of eSwitzerland now and we are very happy that we get new citizen. In this world we are not big country, but we can do great changes! Every single part of a chain is very important.

eRepublik offers you to do whatever you want. You can have your own factories of food and weapons, you can write your own newspaper, help your country on the battlefield. You can be a part of political life too. In politics, you can be a member of a political party, party president or even a country president. You have great possibilities here!

But to understand the game and to become a great player, warrior and politician you have to learn some basic information about it. I believe that everything seems so complicated now. Believe me, I was confused too. But when you learn some information about game play everything becomes easier.

So, if you want to learn something just follow this article and I will present you the game.

Let’s start:

MAIN MENU
This is main menu page, your basic page, your approach to other pages. You access to this page when you click on eRepublik logo above.

Photo 1

Number 1 = Info about your citizen with your avatar, the country where you live, your current health, your money, missions that you have not yet finished (missions are great way to get some money, strength, energy bars or even gold as a reward), current mail unread, current alerts and log out button
Number 2 = The current daily order of your military unit
Number 3 = Current military campaign and the Country president (and only him) and choose the most important military for the country
Number 4 = Newspaper module
Number 5 = Your feed where you can read message from your friends, your military unit and your party
Number 6 = Main bar on eRepublik with accesses to “My places”, “Wars”, “Market”, “Community” and “Gold and Extras”. When you move your cursor on any of them new menu appears. Explore!

When you start your life on eRepublik you are level 0, with no experiences. Now it is time to evolve, to develop and to become great player. The main things that you will need to do at that time are: Working, Training and Fighting. You can do this with using your energy lots of other names: food, health, wellness, well, HP...). You get 10 energy points every 6 minutes, whether are you online or not. At the beginning you will be able to “store” small amounts of energy, but later you are going to be able to “store” up to 500 and more energy points at the time. The residence gives you a limit on health that you can stock. This limit can be between 100 and 500. Every new citizen begins with limit at 100 energy points. Each hour, you can restore 100 health (10 per 6 minutes).

The maximum energy for a new citizen is 100 and will increase with 20 at every level up until level 21. At level 21 a citizen will have a maximum energy of at least 500. After level 21, the maximum energy can be increased by purchasing an Energy center. Note: When you advance to a new level maximum amount of energy is restored.

Example:
At level 1 the citizen has a maximum energy of 100.
At level 2 the citizen has a maximum energy of 120.
At level 11 the citizen has a maximum energy of 300.
At level 12 the citizen has a maximum energy of 320.

When you reach your maximum you have to use your energy (with training, working, fighting) or it will not store anymore (until you use existing energy).

It is very important to get your experience points because with higher level you are able to access to new features on eRepublik. Find out more:

Photo 3

There are several ways to receive these points:
- Working (2 Points)
- Working in your own companies (2 points per company)
- Training (2 points per training)
- Finish your daily task (1 point)
- Fighting (1 point per 10 energy points used)
- Vote on elections (5 points)
- Winning congress election (20 points)
- Winning country president election (50 points)

If your health is low use some food or buy some on the market place (»Market« tab on main bar) NEVER use health pack Their cost is huge (especially for a new citizen like you). Sometimes, you will receive “Energy Bar” (thing that fill your energy with 100 energy points). You can use them but it is better to do it in an important battle.

Also, there are some groups of people and parties that help young citizens by giving them food. SWIDAH (Swiss Department of Armament and Health) is organisation in Switzerland that helps all players with food. You can get 2000 well (energy) every second day with SWIDAH. Contact me and I will tell you how. It is very simple.

Health is one of the most important things in the game. Its number is always between 0 and your maximum that varies.

With your health, you can do several things like Working – Training – Fight – Working in your own companies,

You lose health by making the following things
- Working (you will lose 10 health)
- Training (10 health lost by training grounds that you use)
- Fighting (10 health lost, each time that you work on the button “fight”)
- Working in your own companies (10 health lost by companies where you work)

You gain health by making the following things
- Eating
- Using hospitals by clicking on the small icon when there is one available (Take care, it is harder to find one these days)
- Using energy bars: if you restored your health to zero (you used your current limit), you can restore 100 health points by eating an energy bar. Also, you are not forced to eat them when you receive one, it is better to keep them and using them at a special occasion (like an important battle)

EATING
After doing several things, you will lose health. But do not worry; there is no problem to regain some. You just need to eat some food. How? That’s very simple: Click on the button “Recover Energy” on main page.

If you used your limit and have still some energy bars the button will be orange. If you do not have food in your inventory, the button will be green with text “Buy food”. Click on it, you will be redirected to the market.

Photo 4

Now it is time to learn something more...

PROFILE PAGE
When you click on your name on main page you will be redirected on your profile page. Speaking of which, it has a lot of your information. Here you can see what level you are, how many experience points you have, you can see who your employer is, in which Military Unit you are, you can see list of your friends here and so on. You can also change your residence place or your citizenship (CS) here. Probably the most important thing is strength bar. You get strength with daily training. The bigger your strength is, the bigger is your influence in battles. Another thing is achievement (or medals). Every medal gives you 5 gold and for every medal you have to fulfil requirements. When you get 250 strength points you will Super Soldier Medal for example. Hard Worker medal is yours when you work 30 days in a row, Battle Hero battle is yours when you make biggest influence in battle and so on. You can find out what you need to get particular medal by moving a cursor over it. On your profile you are able to access to your newspaper if you have one or to create it if you do not have it yet. Creating newspaper costs 2 gold and it cannot be deleted. When you have your newspaper you are able to write your own articles by clicking on your newspaper and on “Write an article” on the page that appears.

At the top of profile page is your name and to the right there is a button using which you can edit your profile. Explore all the possibilities to learn about them. Give it a try.

Photo 5

You have learned something about your profile, but the point is, that every citizen has its own profile page. Here is a box using which you can find other players on eRepublik. This search box is above “Community” tab at main bar. When you insert a name or particular word in it, press enter and eRepublik will search for all players with this word in their names. Click on a player nick to access to its profile page. Players profile page is almost the same as yours. Only difference is on place of “edit profile” button (other player do not have it). On the same place here are three buttons. In the left is button “add/remove friend”, in the middle is “Send message” and in the right is “donate”. Sending a message is a way of communication here on eRepublik. It is based on the same principle as at many other games. Donation can be made between players. You can donate food, weapons, tickets, money and gold (“only” 10 gold per day). If someone needs help it is nice to help him, because you never know when you will need help.

Let’s move to next lesson:

BUYING ON MARKETPLACE
You have no more food and weapons in your storage and you desperatly need some? The marketplace is made just for you.
First of all you need to click on “market” and following that on “Marketplace”

Photo 6a

Photo 6b

The market place contains several things that you can buy.
Food – Weapons – Moving Tickets – Food raw Materials – Weapon raw materials – Companies (Hospitals and Defence systems are only available for the country president)
- Food : they are used to restore your health
- Weapons : they are used to make more damages on the battlefield
- Moving Tickets : they are used to move to another region (but they are almost useless now, so do not buy them)
- Food Raw materials : they are required to create foods
- Weapon Raw materials : they are required to create weapons
- Companies : “things” that you use to create products
Also, I will not talk about Hospitals and Defence system here, Only the country President can buy them.

Products and quality
Well, finished products (like food, weapon and moving tickets) are divided into several qualities : from Q1 to Q7 (except Moving tickets to Q5)
Highest the quality is, highest the product is, more it cost.

About foo😛 a Q1 food will give you back 2 health, a Q2 food will give back 4 health, … till a Q7 that give you 20 health.
Small tip: before buying food, think to compare the price for 1 health, sometimes Q5 food can be cheaper than a Q3

About weapons: a Q1 weapon will increase your damage with 20% and can be used 1 time, a Q2 weapon will increase your damage with 40% and can be used 2 times, … till a Q7 weapon that will increase your damage with 200% and can be used 10 times.
Small tip: Even if the price is different, you will make more damage by using a Q6 weapon than 6 times a Q1 weapon.

Raw Materials like Food Raw materials and Weapon ones have no quality: products sold on the market are the same

Buying a product
How to buy an article? Well, once you are on the market place (remember that you need to click on Market and Marketplace), you will see this:

Photo 6c

Photo 6d

Lower quality (Q) is always on the left side of bar. Select an item you want to buy, insert quantity you want to buy and press BUY button next to it.

You will buy items using your money (currency) but there is also unique and universal “money” on eRepublik. I am talking about Gold (yes, same gold as before). The gold is one of the currencies of the eWorld and also the most important one. Many things can be bought via Gold.

Gold is useful for the following things:
- Buy a company
- Create a newspaper (2 Gold). Attention, you can’t remove a newspaper)
- Use some training grounds (Not the best idea for a young player to pay for train)
- Use Health pack (not the best idea for a young player too)
- Create a political party (40 Gold)
- Upgrade your company

You will gain Gold by the following ways:
- Win a medal (5 Gold per medal)
- Raise your experience level (1 Gold per level)
- Invest your real life money into the game (not the best idea in my opinion)
- Exchange your Local currency into the monetary market to gold
- Sometimes as a reward of missions

We have learned how to get gold on eRepublik and now it is time to learn how to get money (local currency).

WORKING
Without job it is impossible to get money. So, first of all you need to find a job. To have a job, move your cursor on “Market” and click on “Job Market”.

Photo 7a

Photo 7b

First job offer on the list is the most paid one. Click on apply next to it to work in it.

Now, you will be redirected to “My places” with a message: ‘Congratulations, you are now working for XXX”

Photo 7c

To work you only need to click on “work”.

Also, I will explain you several things about the last screen shot

1 = your employer (you can’t resign on the first 3 days after signing)
2 = the health that you will lose by working for him (it is the same for everybody)
3 = your wage
4 = the income tax (the money that you will give to country accounts each time that you work – like in real life)

Once you push on the button work, you will see this with different numbers

Photo 7d

Click OK to get money. It is very important to work every day to get your daily income.
Under your employer bar you have a list of your companies, you work in them on the same way that you train in your training grounds (find information few rows down). Each item that you get with working is stored in your storage.

So, you have learned how to work and now you have to learn how to train.

TRAINING
Training will give you strength and this strength will make you stronger on the battlefield to help our country and our allies all around the world.
To access to training grounds, Click on “My places” and on the second tab. You will see this with different numbers and stars.

Photo 8a

Some explanations about this picture
Red = Your current training grounds and their quality
Green = Selection of the traiing grounds, If you don’t use it : it will be white, once selected : black and once used : green
Blue = Cost of the use of each training grounds
Mauve = Strength that you will receive by using the training grounds

To Train click the “citizen” near from the training grounds that you want to use, once selected, it must change in black (number 1)

Click on Train(2) and you will see this with different numbers:

Photo 8b

When you start with playing yours training grounds are on level 1. You can increase their level using gold but for a young player like you this is not a wise decision. For a young player, it is not a good idea to upgrade your training grounds at the beginning. It is better to develop your companies (and having a Q5 town center) first. However, if you really want to upgrade one, I suggest you to upgrade FREE training ground on quality 2. Even if the cost is 20G, you will not use gold each time that you use it. On the same time, you will gain faster super soldier medals. Sometimes administrators of the game make special offer when you are able to upgrade your training ground with 40% less gold. Wait until special offer to save important gold.

DAILY TASK AND DAILY ORDER
After working and training it is time to get your daily reward with daily task option. Daily tasks can help you in your progression in Erepublik. By following them, you will gain several things. Therefore, it is very important to work and train every day. Here in eRepublik day is 24 hours long and it begins at 9 o´clock according to Swiss real life time. So, click on eRepublik logo at the top of the page to get to main page. Here you will see Daily Tasks section. You have to finish your daily task every day to get special bonuses.

Photo 9a

Click on Get Reward after working and training to get a reward. Every day you will get additional one experience point (XP) and one strength point. If you work and train for 5 days in a row you will get 5 XP and 5 strength points as a reward.

Photo 9b

Photo 9c

Under Daily Tasks section there is Daily Order section. In it you have to defeat 25 opponents in a particular battle. When you finish click on Get Reward to get an energy bar and 5 different pieces for your bazooka.

Photo 9d

Photo 9e

STORAGE
I mentioned Storage few times and now it is time to present it to you. Access to storage (“My places” and click on third tab). Storage is a place where everything that you own is (weapons, food, raw materials, tickets, bazooka parts, energy bars, rockets, boosters and so on). Each storage has its own capacity and if you need bigger storage you can buy additional with clicking on “+” at the top (it costs 1750 currency). In storage you can assemble your bazooka parts into bazookas (each bazooka has 3 hits durability and it makes 30.000 influence in the war), but you are not able to use bazookas at the beginning. Under is Rocket section where you are able to build rockets. There are four rocket qualities, but it is not a good way to make rockets for a player like you. At the end you have section where you are able to put your items on market to sell them.
Everything is simple and you will learn it with trying and exploring.

Photo 10

FIGHTING
The last thing I will show to you is fighting. Fighting is very important way to use your energy and to help your country on the battlefield.

At Erepublik, there are 2 kinds of wars:
- Normal wars: Country A (+ its allies) vs Country B (+ its allies)
- Resistance wars: Current owner of the region vs Resistance force of the original owner. In resistance wars there are no allies to help the country. You need to be located in the country of the current owner.

Join the battlefield
On the main menu, you will be able to see campaign of the day (decided by the Country president of the country where you are located). Click on »Fight« button to join the battle.
Another way is by clicking on »War« and you will be redirected to every war that is available in the country where you are located. After that click on »Fight« button where you want to fight.

Photo 11a

Photo 11b

Battlefield
Due to the lot of information that you can find here, I will split the screen into two parts. Fighting is quite easy. You just need to click on the big button »Fight« and when you need health, click on the food button.

By default you will always use weapons of higher quality first
IMPORTANT : never use your gold for fighting !!!

Photo 11c

1 = The side where you fight (your side is always in blue)
2 = Wall on your side (54.37😵
3 = Campaign details (explained below)
4 = Region where the campaign is located
5 = Wall on opponents side (45.63😵
6 = Enemy side (always in Red)
7 = Current Hero on our side
8 = Points that our side has on this mini battle
9 = Current fighters for us
10 = Time of the mini battle
11 = Current fighters for opponents
12 = Points that enemy has in this mini battle
13 = Current enemy battle hero with amount of damages that he inflicted

Photo 11d

1 = You
2 = Your health
3 = The weapon that you use
4 = Hits that you need to defeat my enemy
5 = Enemy’s health (he loses some each time that you fight, but in reality, he doesn’t lose it)
6 = Enemy’s weapon
7 = Your enemy
8 = X/Y, X = amount of enemy that I have defeated to finish my daily order , Y = enemies thatI need to defeat to finish my daily order (this is not available normally)
9 = Your current rank
10 = Rank progress (when the bar is full, your rank increases)
11 = Recovering health (you can push it to recover health, as long as you see bread)
12 = FIGHT button, Push it to begin to fight
13 = Current influence on the battlefield
14 = Maximum influence that you are able to do (this is not available normally)
15 = Click on it to have access to the “enemy defeated message”
16 = Access to Battle Statistics

Campaign detailes

Photo 11e

1 = Total Points won by UK in this campaign
2 = Total Points won by Irish Resistance in this campaign
3 = Total Points per division won in the campaign
4 = Amount of points for each divison in this mini for UK
5 = Wall on each side (if arrows are blue, you lead). If you move your cursor to other divisions, you can see where the wall is
6 = Amount of points for each divison in this mini for Irish Resistance
7 = Amount of points for each divison in this mini for Irish resistance

We are divided in 4 divisions (check the table just below to find the division where you are)

Photo 11f

Example: If you are level 20, you will be in division 1 and you will fight only against people from division 1

To win a mini battle your side must have 1800 points.
- On the 30 first minutes : 10 points per minutes are given to the side where the wall is over 50%
- From 31st to 60th minute : 20 points per minute are given to the side where the wall is over 50%
- From 61st to 90th minute : 30 points per minutes are given to the side where the wall is over 50%
- After 91st minute : 60 points per minutes are given to the side where the wall is over 50%

It means that each mini has a length of at least 90 minutes and their maximum time is about 120 minutes.

Once a side of your division has 1800 points you must wait other divisions to end their mini battles. Once all mini battles are finished you must wait for 5 minutes on next mini battle.

Once a division won a mini battle they gain points. With 83 points they won the campaign.

Each mini battle won by division 1 gives 1 point to their side
Each mini battle won by division 2 gives 2 points to their side
Each mini battle won by division 3 gives 3 points to their side
Each mini battle won by division 4 gives 5 points to their side

If you are the Battle Hero of your division you will get a Battle Hero medal with reward. However, depending your division, the amount of gold that you will receive is different.

You will receive:
- 2 Gold if you are in division 1
- 3 Gold if you are in division 2
- 4 Gold if you are in division 3
- 5 Gold if you are in division 4

Campaign Hero medal is won by the player with bigger influence in campaign in all divisions overall.

So, this is everything that is important to a young citizen. With time you will find out more because eRepublik has a lot of different modules and parts. Just explore and you will be learning through exploring. If you need something just contact me (now you know how) and I will explain everything that you want to know. It is very important for our country that is has a lot of active players and that we help each other.
