sweden, poland, and germany - proposing peace

As eUSA President I have been in talks with the Presidents of Sweden, Poland, and Germany as well as their MoFAs about this situation.
Sweden tells me that they are at an end with attacking and taking German regions. Poland says they are wrapping up too. While I know that many people do not like the state of affairs with these attacks there has been some discussion in the hidden Congress boards about proposing peace with these nations so that we can be done with this. Realistically there is little that we can do to further protect Germany. They are a small country and are in imminent danger of a PTO (political takeover). The only way to save Germany at this point is through political means rather than military ones. But that would require the populace to move and vote in the German elections instead of voting in the eUSA elections and I doubt anybody wants to do that.
In that line of thought I am proposing peace with Sweden today and Poland tomorrow. If Congress has truly changed their mind they can vote for the proposals. If they have not then that is their right. I've been in conference with them on a near daily basis on these issues. The stance of the eUSA remains neutral.
I suggest too that if Germany is saved from PTO this next election that we consider making a fund to help Germany rebuild their Q5 hospital that was lost in their war with Sweden. If every citizen donated half a gold we could easily raise the necessary gold to donate to Germany for this purpose. This would allow the citizens who support Germany to find another way to do so. Again, they can also support Germany with their votes if they are so inclined. The choice is yours.

I support Kyle's approach, unless Germany wishes for those wars to be kept open. We should take Germany's wishes into account if we can.
PS It was good to see scrabman being a hero fighting for Germany against Sweden.
Vote No! Lets hold out and see if Sweden/Poland duo stop the attacks first, and then declare peace. Also, the choice to fight for Germany is a good thing, and keeping it open for the public of eAmerica is a good thing!

@ wingfield let's look at the opposite. Before atlantis was dead we had to follow the rules of that alliance. The Sweden/Germany conflict started before alliance was dead - therefore we are required by contract to stay out of the conflict, scrab followed the rules as they were written. Had we jumped into the fray we would not have been in a position to fight in croatia help romania, and save Spain from a PTO. Now that the conflict is over, we are in a position to be a mediator.

scrab, why exactly is it our responsibility to help Germany rebuild? If we refused to defend them and refused to enter into an alliance with them, why are we prepared to spend so much money on a hospital that may likely end up falling into enemy hands anyway? Why are we obligated to do this?

Apparently, they meant they'd be soon wrapping up Germany.
If they get Bavaria, they'll take Germany's last remaining hospital. Then, Germans won't be able to defend themselves at all.
I guess Poland fooled Scrabman in a bad way.. und besides, with all this Spam articles with "defend thuring".
I hope the states really stay on the right side. with actions like the poland ones, there's no need to add anything else.
Normally I would say that it is the right way. Normally diplomatic is the better and the first option before war, thats clear. But eSweden and especially ePoland betrayed you and your Nation. They are still attacking, and they are attacking our Capital hard. So we need the help of our allies, especially the help of the eUSA, the great country with whom we were close friends since years. Please dont let us alone!
Its true, we are a small country, which cant help you. But we are growing at the moment, new citizens coming and they should have the chance to live in their own country! And it is not in the interest of eUSA to have two strong enemies on the european continent like eSweden and ePoland would be after defeating eGermany.
So please stay helping us fighting against ePoland and eSweden!!!

I appreciate your attempts to remain neutral between our allies, even though one of those allies was blatantly the aggressor.
You have been walking a political tightrope for a long time.
You tried to negotiate peace between these countries, and based on the above article, thought that had been achieved.
Meanwhile, you were being lied to.
I believe you said in one of your past articles that if it came to a point where Germany was about to be wiped off the map, you would intervene.
That point has arrived. Germany is losing Bavaria. If it loses Bavaria, it will lose its' last hospital, and soon after, Germany will be gone from the map.
The time for listening to rationalizations and negotiating with liars has ended.
Please do the right thing and unleash the Marines and the National Guard on the Poles in Bavaria.

1. I'm not Hungarian.
2. I'm 100% against PTO's. The average citizen I know is 100% against PTO's as well but considers it part of the game now the admins have not done anything against it for almost a year.
3. You already state YOURSELF exactly what I said in my post. Scrabman here claims noone would move to vote abroad, but exactly as you state, they DO. So why can't they vote in Germany? Not because there are no people who vote abroad instead of the USA elections.

Greedily I say I'd rather see every citizen donate 1/2 gold to build a Q5 hospital in Wisconsin , Alaska , or the next most populous state , or even the state with the most active citizenry.
Sadly if the political infrastructure is so weak as to allow for a PTO then there is really nothing we can do short of giving them 2 things. Muscle and Votes. Short of these things there is no way we as a country can secure the political power in a country such as Germany.
The takeover was temporary because it was achieved by cheating, and when the cheaters were banned the PTO failed. If you think that only weak countries get PTO'd please remember that both Spain and Indonesia narrowly avoided a PTO. Neither of those are weak countries.

I had already sent 10 gold to eGermany and Lord knows I can't afford it. I've wiped out any excess funds in purchasing weapons to help in their fight on a daily basis.

Second, um, that wouldn't be declaring peace, that's called stating the obvious. How do you break up a fight after they are done fighting?
