Survey - Results and Analysis
Bohemond4
I recently asked you to complete a survey, the old article can be found here
So, here are the results! It has been up for 48 hours, so, plenty of time to get your responses in.
The First question I asked was how people felt about BigAnt's last term, the results were interesting. People were asked to rate between 5 answers: Best CP term ever, A solid Term, Nothing Special, Pretty Awful and Worst CP ever.
Sorry BigAnt, you miss out on Worst CP ever award!
😛
As you can see, more people felt that the term was less than satisfactory than any other category, but, it was not 50% of the people surveyed that felt that BigAnt's term was negative. he is saved by those who fall into the middle category who reckon that it was a neither overly solid, nor pretty awful. I think the data here shows that most people were not pleased with BA.
I then asked if people felt the last administration represented them. This was a yes/no chart. Overwhelmingly, it was a no.
This No may be due to higher number of respondents from the 'opposition' parties, however, if you want the raw data I will make it available to you.
My 3rd question was whether or not people thought the latest Anglo-Norwegian War was a good idea. This was rated out of 5, with 1 being worst idea in the world and 5 being the best.
Overall, by one vote, people felt this was a good idea, though the biggest percentage felt that it was neither a good nor bad idea. Which is interesting when we compare to the answers of the first question as this was one of the months most important events conducted by the Presidency
My next question is the one where the current administration should pick up and listen. I asked what was the opinion of the new administration, ranked again between 1 and 5 with 5 being amazing and 1 being not good.
This returns an interesting result. The majority of the people surveyed were ambivalent towards the new administration, which means Richard Feist has a clean slate to impress, or not.
The final question was one to do with the Norwegian Colonies and what we should do with them. I asked 5 questions: Keep them for as long as possible for TP medals, Good for short term, but should look at getting out, don't really care, Should give them back and get cash and Get out now.
The highest result returned was to keep them for as long as possible, which is the governments current position. Looks like our main 2 candidates did something right in their manifesto's!
Well, the final chart for you is a breakdown of party members:
The highest responses were from The Unity Party, but I had a good number from all over the show. I would have liked more responses from New Era and the UKPP, but I think this still shows an interesting distribution.
The raw data will be made available, though names have been deleted. To access it, message me privately.

This survey was brought to you by The Unity Party
Like what we are doing? Why not join The Unity Party today! The oldest progressive party in the UK.

And this tells us?
Interesting survey :
BA and Rfeist are from the same party but they aren't seen from the same way by our population.
Last BA term was seen as awful when lot of people think that rfeist could fix current problems.
At least, his cabinet choices are wise, unlike the last CP ones
why, when our party leaders are trying to build bridges do feel the need to be so derogatory
Wait Kravenn? What? 59% of people said it wasn't awful.
Strength and Honour
I have to agree with mick cain, this does seem to be a cheap shot at degrading UKPP and its members who achieved success in the CP elections. As we all know TUP CPs are hardly ever decent, no offence, but most of them either do nothing and patch it up with things already done, or they run away and never return.
Some TUP Presidents are decent granted, its just rare. You could say ESOs are bad, yes, most likely, however, at least in the terms ESO had a CP it contained discussions and debates beyond comparison, mostly about issues of fabricated realities created by things like this.
Nonetheless, can we avoid cheap shots from now on?
I think you are contributing to a lot of mistaken characterizations here. Your commentary suggests that you went into this with expectations and were surprised when they weren't borne out in the responses (i.e. did the last government represent you?)
I think Mick is more aiming at Kravenn tbh...
I never intend to degrade UKPP, or even BigAnt! And Elle, of course I had some expectations, which is why I was interested to see they were not 100% accurate. Like I say, I find it very interesting - and enlightening.
I didn't intend to aim cheap shots, if it comes across like that, well, I apologise. But that does not change the data I received. Re-reading it, I can see where it might seem like I aim a cheap shot, I will edit them so that it looks less like it.
I hope the changes appear less cheap shot-like and more analytic.
Voted and enjoyed reading the results. It was also nice to see public opinion on the Norwegian campaign...though it's a shame more didn't participate.
It was quite obvious from the questions what the aim of the survey was... Hence why I didn't take it seriously and randomly clicked... Plus with TUP leading the survey, its outcome would always be skewed in a certain direction...
'It was quite obvious from the questions what the aim of the survey was.'
In other words I should not have asked anything about the last term then...don't give me such rubbish. how much more unbiased can you get than asking how they thought the term was? Unless I had 5 answers 'crap, crap, crap, crap or crap' or, 'amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing or amazing'
I was interested in finding out what peoples views of the last term was, something I think we should be finding out after as many terms as possible. I will be conducting more surveys covering this term. Should 5Butjam have won the election I would still do the same thing. Had Talon Karrde run and won, I would have conducted the same survey, when the next TUP President wins, I will conduct this survey after their term.
So, wayne, instead of going 'ohmygawdhestupsoevilallthetimeandbiased' actually get to know me, and why I would actually consciously choose to be as unbiased as possible...
I will admit, I am biased, we all are, we are human, so thats why I actually messaged members of NE/1V in order to add their results in (they were the lowest represented parties at the time) Sure, I probably should have messaged around more, but as yesterday was my birthday...whatever.
"I actually messaged members of NE/1V in order to add their results in (they were the lowest represented parties at the time) "
I think you'll find that "None" is the biggest political party in the eUK in terms of membership, why didn't you try to add any results from there?
Voted, Some interesting data gathered and presented well, Bohemond
