Sure, why would ye not?
Decy Donaghy
Hello dearest citizens of eIreland! I hope you are well & happy after the festive break.
The return to my work on Monday 4th January 2016 was one of soul crushing darkness, like descending into the very pit of hell itself. Why has the world been so unforgiving?!?! Why can't I find a job that pays me good money & expects nothing but my belligerent grunts in return? Is that too much too ask? Well?!? (Seriously, I'm asking....someone help me out, I'm still turkey drunk!)
In the (un)wise decision by Elite C, our glorious President, I am now Minister for Foreign Affairs for our nation.
There are a few things ongoing at present but my immediate want & desire is to bring back the Ambassador program, which many, many moons ago, I was myself an Ambassador to Croatia.
I will happily accept applications from all citizens but am very keen to see applications from young & new citizens and encourage their growth & understanding of the geopolitical nature of the game.
Language barriers won't be an issue due to the pretty decent manner in which Google Translate now operates (Gone are the days in which that butchered a foreign language for shits and giggles).
So please, get involved, get an application to me in the form of a PM & I'll see what can be allocated to whom.
Best Wishes

He's really an old citizen we dug up out of the garbage and dusted off and gave a new lease of life too, hopefully he'll last longer this time round.
Aren't we alll (dug up old cits)? Lol
we used Duracell batteries in him this time, he should last 3 times longer..lol
There's an old story-- I don't know how old, but I first heard it years ago-- about a computer that was programmed to translate languages. It was given the phrase "Out of sight, out of mind" as a test phrase to translate into Russian, and then, on a whim, the scientist asked it to translate the result back into English. The result was "Invisible Maniac." So they tried it again, this time to translate was "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." The result they got was, "The liquor is ok, but the meat is rotten!"
Could be some interesting Ambassador reports coming soon to a newspaper near you.
yes i can remember quite a few such incidents most people are though these days more proficient in english. germans are the only people though imo that is totally opposed to any translators and an foreigners talking to them. sauerkrauts i think would be the description for them on the internet.
Good luck with the new role. 🙂
