Summertime in Croatia | Weather Forecast for eHR | Where to Move Your Companies?
Janko Fran
Hello dear eRepublik Citizens,
It has been extremely hot these days... Well, in most of the Europe and the Mediterranean area at least... Well, it's summertime, after all...

As well as in Croatia...
So, let's jump in!
Summertime in Croatia
Although Croatia has been popular for a quite some time and turism in Croatia dates back at least since 1844 Opatija,
in the recent years Croatia has become an extremely popular destination, a destination to relax and cool off in the sea at least, but having much more to offer... I can recommend it, especially if you can afford it...

Croatia celebrates bumper summer season after joining the euro. But locals aren't so happy
And the news in Croatia are full of reports of celebrities spending their holidays there...
Here are some of the recent ones...
Celebrities - Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez spotted on holiday in Croatia with Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry and Usher

They like it because it's beautiful, there is a lot of things to see and explore and they can relax in peace, without being too much disturbed...
Some of them have even bought a real estate in Croatia, a house and a piece of land they can call their own home...
Star-studded Croatia: Celebrities who own or rent real estate on the Adriatic Coast
This summer my girlfriend and I have visited Croatia as well...
We have visited the seaside, some islands, a few camping sites and some donkeys...
The Adriatic Sea is still very beautiful and I have been missing it a lot...
Our goal was actually to avoid crowds and crowded places, to find something different, to find calm and peace in the nature...
And the most impressive in my mind have been the typical, traditional Mediterranean/Adriatic/Dalmatian sights as the sun and beautiful sunsets, the crystally clear sea, olive and laurel trees and, of course, donkeys...
You know, the simple things.

Tovars - Dalmatian Donkeys
SIMBOL KOJI NESTAJE Dalmacija je tovar i tovar je Dalmacija
After not seeing them for many years, I am glad that donkeys are coming back home to Dalmatia and so I have visited a couple of donkey farms during my vacation...
They are such dear animals...
Before this year, the last time I've seen a donkey was in Ireland more than 10 years ago.
This time, I found them on the Rab island on the Kanat farm:

And on the Dar-Mar ranch near Nin...
Pa pogledajte vi ta divna stvorenja. Posjetili smo farmu magaraca Dar-Mar i oduševili se

Who Cares And What Does It Have To Do With eRepublik?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, celebrities and summer holidays in Croatia, nice, but who cares?
OK, don't be envious...
And what does this have to do with eRepublik and all of those players who can see Croatia and the Adriatic Sea only on photos?
OK, we'll get there... Just a bit of patience...
Anyway, if you have firmly decided not to visit Croatia, here are 25 more reasons why not to visit Croatia:
25 Reasons You Should NEVER Visit Croatia

So, let's get to the point!
It has been extremely hot these days in eCroatia as well... Just like Croatia, eCroatia has become an extremely popular destination, too. It has become so popular that it has been literally overrun by tourists from all over the world, while Croats are enjoying on the beach at the seaside as well, because it's just so hot and almost every effort, except relaxation, becomes too hard to handle...
It is a well known phenomenon in Dalmatia. Croatian hip-hop group TBF has turned it into a hit song. They made a music video, too...
TBF - Alles gut (Click on the image above to play the music video)
So, welcome dear tourists, enjoy the sun and the sea, enjoy your stay in eCroatia.
And who are the most frequent tourist groups in eCroatia this year?
As you can see from the map, eCroatia has been overrun by tourists from the East (in red), from the west (in violet) and from the south (in purple).
1. eSerbia
The most popular turist group in eCroatia this year comes from the East, from eSerbia. They seem to like Dalmatia with Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik the most. However, they also overrun the continental eCroatia with Zagreb and Osijek. At least those who find the Adriatic coast to be too far for them...
2. eUSA
The second most popular group of tourists at the Adriatic coast this yeaar comes from the West, from the eUSA. Especially Istria and Kvarner region are popular with the Americans. I bet they'll like the Roman Arena Amphitheater in Pula as well as Brijuni Archipelago...

3. eSouth Africa
Surprisingly, the third most popular tourist group this Summer comes from the South, namely from eSouth Africa. They seem to like Central Croatia with some refreshing winds of the Velebit Canal from Senj and cold mountain creeks and beautiful refreshing Plitvice lakes. That's perfect to cool off...
And this happens almost every summer... Until the weather changes, at least...
Weather Forecast For Croatia
Sunny till the end of this week. Next week would be rainy with possible thunderstorms.

Where to move your companies?
1. If you haven't already moved your companies, or
2. if the regions where your company holdings are located changed the owners, or
3. if there is a war between your country and the country where the companies are located and you think it's worth of the effort and the money, or
4. if for some reason you want to optimize your company production,
here is the list of country bonuses productivity sorted by country...
Your company holdings should be located in some of the countries from the top of the list.
Country bonuses and productivity sorted by country on Day 5756.
Click on the image above to enlarge it.
So, what's interesting here?
No country has all 4 productivity bonuses maxed out to 100% (200% in total per industry).
So you'll need at least 2 company holdings if you produce in all 4 product industries all and want to optimize it.
1. Poland and United Arab Emirates
Poland is on the top and closest to the ideal with 3 bonuses maxed out and Aircraft productivity bonus on 37%.
If you go with Poland, then United Arab Emirates complements that choice in the Aricraft production industry with some extra safety in the Houses production industry.
2. Alternatives
Lithuania | Taiwan | Spain | USA + United Arab Emirates
Either of these 4: Lithuania, Taiwan, Spain or USA complimented with United Arab Emirates will do the trick as well.
What's good about these choices is that in order to produce Weapon and Food as a manager, you need to be present in the region where the holding is. So if you need to travel just to produce in a different industry, that can get expensive. Keeping production of Weapon and Food in the same region cuts that cost. On the other hand, if the country bonuses get compromised, you could lose a lot...
So, if you go for it, then Poland, Lithuania, Taiwan and Spain are great choises for Weapon and Food production, with Poland offering maximal House productivity bonuses on top of that.
When it comes to House production, then you have only 3 countries to choose, which have maximal productivity bonuses:
1. Poland
2. United Arab Emirates
3. Philippines
Priorities in the respective order, as Poland has 3 max bonuses, United Arab Emirates 2 an Philippines 1.
Aircraft Productivity Bonuses
For Aircraft Productivity only 4 countries currently make the cut:
1. United Arab Emirates (Aircraft, House),
2. South Africa (Aircraft, Weapon),
3. Bulgaria (Aircraft, Food) and
4. Peru (Aircraft, Weapon),
in that order of preference if you compare profitability and total bonuses.
So, when it comes to choosing the countries where your company holdings should be in order to maximize production in all industries:
Poland and United Arab Emirates seem as the best combination.
However, you can decide which combination from the list would work for you, as in some countries it could get too crowded or too instable as the country is too weak or too small, or it's in the wrong alliance or in a direct war with your country.
Just be carefull, the company holding and moving production can become a very expensive sport. Even if you have Reset Tokens to move the production, each subsequent new company holding costs additional 25 gold more.
So 25 gold for the first one, 50 gold for the second one, 75 gold for the 3rd one and that is already 150 gold cost in total without even starting to move your production.

Very nice article ! VES
I hope to visit Croatia soon 😉
Please put some continental parts on your map as well (everything is close here), and if you visit capital - Zagreb, please ping! I would be very happy to meet you in person as well 🤗
No problemo ! My idea is to follow the Napoleon's road along the coast. Anyway I think I will land and take off from Zagreb so I will stay up to 3 days here. It's for next year. And I will be very happy to take a coffee or beer or something else with you. Cheers 😉
Oooh wonderful!!!!!
And please plan in few hours, I would be very happy to show you around my city, and tell some stories from the old days 🤩
And show some dear places which you maybe wouldn't find on the map 😉
They say ZG is most enjoyable during the summer (just the right balance between locals and tourists), but I love it in every season!
There is always smth going on, diff festivals of music and food or old times related.. we have so many interesting museums.. concerts and street buskers, there is nice music at so many corners and places..
Spring.. everything wakes up, nature and ppl..
Summer - city is almost empty of cars and you get everywhere faster 🙂
Autumn - beautiful colours again, and very pleasant climate.. and some refreshing autumn rains..
Winter - then is specially magical, around Xmass.. the combo of tasty local food, excitement due to holidays, and ppl make such a special atmosphere..
When ever you come, you will enjoy! I promise!! ❤
Thank you for your good advices ! Spring will be my choice because it's not too hot or cold. And also because there are a lot of holidays in May so I can easily take 3 weeks or one month to travel. Winter is reserved for skiing, autumn for mushrooms picking and summer for my family 🙂 And of course if you can advice me for ZG or guide me I would enjoy very much. Same thing if you whish to visit Paris or France 🙂
Great job and article. Thank you so much!
Yep, I was in Croatia as well, visiting Istria and Krk.
Have been doing so for 2 decades, but it is really getting to crowded, and....too expensive.
I hear from my Croat friends that they themselves are now forced to do their shopping in Trieste, because in Croatian shops everything is too expensive.

Poslovne ideje!
