Suggestions for the Admins

Day 1,949, 20:19 Published in USA USA by Jason Welsh

I'm writing this because, as you've all probably noticed, the Admin has put in a lot of chenges lately. From trying these out, i'm given the impression that they weren't really fully thought through, just something thrown in to attempt to increase activity, excitement for the players, and, of course, provide incentive to buy gold.

Does admin ever want anything else?

Let's be thankful they're trying at least and it's no longer like the 1200's where they didn't even pay attention to our requests. They're trying to understand the players and I give them tons of credit for that. If one of the admins ever reads this, this can be considered constructive criticism from one of the players.

Let's start with the most obvious

Gold Mines

A lot of people are complaining about this, but I haven't seen many suggestions for how it can be improved. I like the general concept and I think that it has a lot of merit, but taking it from the drawing board to actual application is hard to do without a single screw-up, especially with something like this. Disagree? Think of something the admins can do that can get this much attention and let me know about it.

How to fix it. There's a couple different things we can do here.

There's the problem of being able to predict which countries will get it in the first place, as Ligtreb stated here. There's also the "why do the bigger countries get spoon-fed gold and the smaller guys get nothing?"

Some directions they could've gone with this?

-Give mines to weaker nations on purpose

Potential problems with this are PTO attempts and bigger nations simply taking over the region through war. Ways to prevent this would be possible make the region un-anneuxable for the first day or so and then mob justice works itself out? Can't really see any solution for the PTO problem though.

Benefits of this would be that the weaker nations get a boosted economy and have the potential to improve their players, military, supply lines, etc. For the larger countries, there would also be a benefit because, hey, you can't say a mass scramble from half a dozen power countries over a single region isn't fun to watch XD

-Make the damage thing proportional to number of citizens per country

This... makes sense actually. I literally just came up with this off the top of my head and it probably has some flaws that i'm not seeing, but for the moment I'm viewing this as having no drawbacks. More activity and fun for us because suspense followed by war to control mines and more people buying gold from admin because people from every country realize that they now have an equal chance of getting a mine if they tank hard enough.

-Evolve the game into something like Battle Dawn

Put the mines in random regions, or maybe just put them in completely new regions that start out as having no default nation, just unclaimed territory that cannot be RWed and nations can attack no strings attached (providing of course that they have a border)

I think it would add more of a direction as to wars and campaigns if we had something like "first alliance to get all the gold mines wins a gold bonus for all players!" and then gold mines jump to different locations. Optional: alliances reset and all nations must create and join completely new alliances whenever this happens.

These are just some ideas i'm coming up with pretty late at night, so ya. If anyone wants to talk about them, feel free to comment, but I'm kinda getting tired of talking about gold mines so...

Guerrilla Fighting option

This is a pretty good thing so far. Honestly, nothing is in urgent need of improvement. Prices seem fair, not too hard to find an opponant, gameplay is understandable and pretty fun to use and you can fight someone who has completely different strength than you and it wouldn't be overly important as far as affecting the outcome.

Inventory selections i'm assuming will soon be added to, but some suggestions, please add some kind of weapon that covers the range gap between the sniper rifle and the sub machine gun. AK-47 range 450 and M16 range 600? maybe? If you're still looking at building and designing new equipment for this, please do something like that so it's not either "really close" or "really far."

Overall though, I am very impressed with this new way of fighting. Nice job admins!

Suggestions in General

-I like it whenever you guys give us random missions with a time limit to get them done by before they disappear. Even if it was the exact same missions a few times in a row, I enjoyed getting them done. It looks like you've stopped these lately, and I'd like to say, please bring them back. They don't have to be big, they just have to be able to attract the average player enough to make them complete the missions.

-The gold discounts that you put up on occasion and advertise with a large and colorful chunk of the homepage, even though the advertisements are large, colorful, and honestly slightly annoying to have to see every day, I like the promotions and deals themselves. More deals and promotions, smaller section of the homepage.

-The economy. A lot of people complain about this, but this is the one area where I don't even have any suggestions on how to improve it (this is mostly because I don't feel like getting too deep into the math part). Although I don't have any specific suggestions for how to improve it, I would like to say some specific parts of the economy that I would like to see improved.

-1 gold=250 cc. I do not like this. I want it to be more like 1 gold=100 cc. I'm hesitant to suggest taking some of the cc out of circulation because of the cost of RWs and other things, but I would like to see the exchange rate gradually lowered. I realize that the gold mine thing will add 500,000 gold to the worldwide circulation of currency in this game (inflating gold prices in theory) but after the economic effects of this are felt, please continue doing things that could potentially lower the price of gold.

-Job market prices. I realize that I work in a commune, I always have, but let me just say that looking at the job market, 15USD a day is NOT enough to completely a daily order unless you have some other source of money and/or supplies. I would like to see something done in an attempt to raise the daily wages for the job markets so that even a 2-clicker who owns no companies can potentially kill 25 enemies a day.

If any admins are reading this, thank you for taking this amount of time out of you day in order to listen to me talk about this game. If any players are STILL reading, wow, why? I haven't bored you to death yet? XD vote and sub at this point if my midnight ramblings interest you this much. srsly.

Stay sexy guys 😉
