Suggestion for Economic module in V2

I have a suggestion that would make conquering regions more useful to a country and that would also make medium resource regions useful, instead of the productivity of your raw resource company being determined by what region your company is in it would be dependant on what country your company is in.
the productivity of a country would be determined by how many high and medium regions of that resource that country has, example: a country has 2 high iron regions and 3 medium iron regions, for every high region a country has it adds X productivity and for every medium resource region the country has it adds Y productivity. this would add a whole new dimension to the game, conquering multiple high regions would mean something and having medium resource regions would now be useful as well, right now medium resource regions are completely and utterly useless.

good idea.
a multiplier for similar regions...what about combos? etc. that puts a lot of questions to be answered and things to figure out but it is an intriguing idea...

also, jsut a thought, if any new resources were to be added to the game I think they should be coal, and black powder. we should already have black powder after all and coal is needed for steel which is also something we should have for the higher Q weapons, houses, defense and hospitals. then you could even add jewelry instead of gifts. etc.

What about expanding the economy?? lets introduce more infrastructure like power and water... and make everything a little more connected. for example, if i own an iron company in arizona, why not require my employees to live in arizona in order to work for me??? What about having companies and hospitals requiring a certain amount of power in order to operate at maximum efficiency? or having regions require a certain amount of water (per capita) to make a Q2 food give citizens the full 2 wellness?
Changes like this would make things more complicated, but it would give the game a whole lot more depth, greatly increase the political activity of everyone, and make the game a lot more fun!
btw good ideas white1knight! coal could also be a resource for power...
