In relation to some of the frantic self defense articles coming out from our CP at the moment, I want to clear something up.
While I always knew that eAus vets would go on to stuff this entire arrangement up with Chile, in the first week of XG's term, I quickly realised that the foreign policy of this government was adding fuel to fire. It seems that some think it is best to manipulate, scheme, and play one country against another, in a bid to try and get what you want. Any moron can see, this is just going to piss people off.
At the start of the term I was designated the Americas in my MoFA portfolio. Upon learning of manipulation techniques from the regional MoFA, apparently at the direction of the CP, I went to Chile to try and salvage the situation. Amazing how the Chile MoFA was already aware of it, as she was informed by Indo on the situation, and what was being attempted by the Aussie govt. I was very vocal in opposing this approach to foreign policy, and for my efforts, I had Chile removed from my portfolio. How did that work out?
It was always going to happen. eAus veterans are arrogant and think they know everything and everyone. The sad truth is, some of them really have no influence OS, and try to hang on to names and battles from three years ago. Upon XG winning the last election, I figured this would happen, but after the first week of his term, I'm amazed it took this long.
Maybe next time you vote a CP, make sure they are the right ones for the job. No, this isn't a butthurt article, though of course I am disappointed I did not win the last CP election. This month would have been far different had I have won, and as I said, I knew the eAussie veteran player would go on to f&@k it up.
Read Fingerguns article, its not far wrong in its actual message. We cant sit at the bottom of the food chain and think we can get away with plotting and scheming one enemy against another, and poking the bees nest, you will get stung. And, well now, the proof is in the pudding as they say.

I am curious about all this scheming talk. I have not seen any evidence of this myself and if you are going to throw accusations, then some evidence would be nice. the eAus govt never sought to break the treaty, which is what we are accused of. If Chile hadn't been willing to let Indo fight us without provocation, and had fought seriously against eArg, then the treaty would still be in force. I don't know how it all rests on our heads, or XG's head for that matter.
As for Fingerguns, this is the same person who didn't think it prudent to invite Australia to defend Chile's accusations, and just assume what was said was gospel.

If FG truly has logs and/or copies of in game messages from several eAussie govt. officials I sincerely hope our govt. officials have those same copies and are willing to produce them for the populace to see, not just the logs XG has, but all of the stuff FG claims she has.
Lany one of those gov officials is Withered himself.... and XG will be releasing all logs of his communications.

I will request the Senate speaker to de-sensitise the thread about "logs with Indo". It shows one event of poor judgement from XG and FA policies.

And Louise, my comment on FG's article is directed at the current administration and their approach to this term. You should hear the ideas still being thrown around now by some of them. If I was so against Australia, why would I even bother to release this article, or bother to run for CP in the first place. Keep your half witted comments to yourself until you can actually manage to get your mind around what has happened this term.
Oh, and those Indo logs should be declassified by tonight, keep an eye on Senate.

All DoFA meetings are logged and posted in Cabinet. If they are not released during a term, they are declassified by law, and available for public view unless they are specifically reclassified by the next administration. But its all irrelevant. Cabinet leaks information like a sieve because there are always individuals who believe they are the elected President or know better than anyone else in Australia. What they cannot get by whining; they feed to the trolls to try force their way via "public opinion" aka 3 frequent posters masking as the silent majority. Sometimes it keeps the government honest (technically the Speaker is there for that), but mostly it only serves to derail popularly elected administrations for kicks.
We have thus said nothing that is not available for public record. Sure, some meetings went better than others, but by and large, our message has been consistent after an initial wobble as everyone found the same page and egos were deflated to fit the job at hand.
Foreign Affairs is not about the agenda of the individuals involved, but about seeking and communicating what is ultimately the current administration's policy. That policy is determined by the vote for a single individual to steer it. The problem comes in when ministers get into a popularity contest with everyone except the person they work for... the Prime Minister of Australia who represents all the people of Australia.

I'm happy to be called as a witness. I staffed Fingerguns during the earlier part of these discussions and these suggestions from the government bench that she screwed eAustralia over are reprehensible. Just because a foreign leader doesn't bow to the demands of the 43rd ranked country on the e-planet, doesn't mean they haven't tried to help within reason. Reason requires eAustralia's leaders to be reasonable. That's where the opinion differs.
