Stop Bickering and Pay Attention

Okay, first of all, the fact that I have to get 100 votes just to get into the Top 5 is simply ridiculous. There's a difference between buying votes for your article to make sure it's seen and buying votes for your article to make sure no one else's is seen.

(I'd also criticize vote buying votes in general, but since I just did the same thing it would be kind of stupid.)

Anyway, while we've all been arguing about which one of us is a Nazi the admins have gone and changed up the rules:

- alliances - starting with the beginning of the next week the rules for involving alliances will be simplified. The biggest change is that for every battle all the active alliances will automatically be available when a battle will be started.

What does this mean? It means that if a big country decides to attack us, WE'RE SCREWED.

Luckily, we have several factors working for us.

1) We're inconspicuous. Unlike our neighbor Austria, we don't really hold that much of a strategic position (we'd be useful for the occasional land swap, like with Hungary back in June.)

2) We hold no high regions. Unlike our neighbor Austria, we have no surplus of resources, so a hostile nation would probably not be willing to spend several hundred gold just to subjugate us.

3) We're so awesome. Unlike our neighbor Austria.

There are two extremes for what could happen with these changes.

Best-case scenario: Admins decide that the proposed changes are ridiculous and reverse them before anything happens.

Worst-case scenario: France or Germany decides it would be fun to invade us, and we lose all our regions and never regain our sovereignty.

But remember, we never know what the future will hold. Maybe this could actually be our big oppurtunity!

Regards. And remember, OCTOBER IS THE MONTH OF THE PENGUIN.
