Apparently what passes for news in this wreckage of a country is old simmering hatreds and useless attempts at scoring points with insults. After taking a break for a few days, coming back and reading this crap reminds me of why eAus easily repels new players.

I wrote a tutorial post a few days back that actually encouraged new players to read the news. No government updates, no gameplay. Just useless bickering that is better done in your own little private IRC chat room.

The few people that hint at things they are doing to actually advance the play of the game are drowned out by the loud shouters.

Can we get back to something that actually matters?

I'm gonna have to stock up on graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows. It's amazing how long some wreckage can burn!

Lol.. I thought the same thing today after not reading articles for a week.
But i'd say its the same everywhere. Even in RL.. Just look at the crap that passes as news on tv these days. It's always the same.

But imagine if everyone got along in eAus? No one complains or criticize each other. We would have no news. The government this term certainly isn't putting out any articles.

LOL TJ. If you actually look at my articles there are a variety of themes. One theme I do have is that this is a game that should be played. It's perfectly legit for someone with an impartial perspective to come in and see how ridiculous this old backbiting and insulting is.

Here's the skinny - I'm not here for your amusement either. And you're pretty damn consistent in the common theme of whining when people don't agree with your own narrow mindset.
