Stating the Inevitable - From a Neighbour

Hey Egypt!

I just wanted to write this article to you to clarify a few things, please bear in mind that I am not associated with the eGreek government...

Firstly I would like to congratulate you on getting your country after 2 years of campaigning into the game!

Now, I have been reading the Egyptian media and so I wish to clarify a few things.

Greek or Turkish intervention into the Arab countries is inevitable. Greece has long been seeking the resource of Oil, while Turkey needs Oil, Grain and Iron, all of which are abundant in the new Arab countries. Oil will help improve Greece's weapon production by 25%, same applies for all the other resources of Iron and Grain which Turkey lacks and badly needs.

There were considerations in the past of obtaining a deal with the Italians in Greece to get same of the Oil, which is one of the reasons I think Greece has been trying to pressurize Turkey into making a peace Treaty (War with Turkey is not good for our economy despite the small economic gains). The introduction of the Arab countries has turned Greece's oil hunger else where.

After America annexes the Eastern Region of Turkey, Greece is likely to put it's attentions to the South where the Oil lies.

Their options will be:
A) Invasion of Egypt and Occupation of the Western Deserts

B) Cooperation with Egypt and Saudi Arabia and colonisation of one of the many of Saudia Arabia's oil regions through payment in Rent

The Cheaper option for eGreece would be option A), but the last thing eGreece wants is more enemies in the region and Egypt is bound to allie itself with Turkey if we pursue option A), in which case Israel is likely to intervene and then we have some giant middle eastern war (which wont be too good for Egypt).

After Turkey recovers from Greek and possibly American occupation, one of their goals will probably be gaining colonies in Saudi Arabia or Egypt to gain some high level resources.

Hence it is not wise for Egypt to remain neutral in the long run. In fact, it cannot remain neutral in the long run. It is going to need allies, especially strong nations nearby that can protect it. I am not trying to convince you to allie with Greece, but I am telling you that your resources have brought you a lot of attention.

At the moment, it is intelligent of you not to intervene in current affairs between Greece and Turkey, but looking at Greece's and Turkey's interest you will inevitably be forced to make negotiations with one of the two.

Therefore I strongly advice Egypt to do this...

If you wish to defend yourselves and keep Egypt safe, seek strong allies now and DO NOT opt for neutrality, other wise you are an easy target for Greece or Turkey...

Greece is at the moment the dominant power in the middle east, but power tends to be shared between Greece and Turkey...

This is just my Opinion and as an eGreek I apologise for intervening in your countries affairs...
