I will use this article to provide a status update on the Yellow Party to members and non-members alike. We are a good way through my first term as party president so I feel as though it is a good time to describe the state of the Yellow Party. I would like to apologize for my recent inactivity in the party; I have been working on a project to be published in the near future.

This first term qualifies as a success in everywhere possible when considering what this party was less than a month ago. We have exceeded my expectations across the board. I would like to recount what we’ve accomplished so far. When I was elected, there were 9 members. It briefly dipped to 8. Today, however, we have 40 members and are still growing. We moved from one of the smallest American party to the eleventh largest of American parties. I am ecstatic about this growth. In addition, we have established a party forum, which has recently passed 250 posts. We have established a party platform. Our wiki page is informative and up-to-date. We have established a party infrastructure. And we have recently supported the Presidential winner Benn Dover.

While we should be allowed a brief moment of self-congratulations, we must not rest on our laurels and must continue to work to improve the Yellow Party. I will again seek the party presidency and have a set of goals I’d like to accomplish in the next month. I would like to expand the leadership board and actively seek to fill vacant positions. I would like to create a Chief of Staff position that assists the party president. Three more positions I would like to create are a Military and Foreign Affairs position, a Welcoming position, and a Party Liaison position. In the coming days, I will establish a party organization that will be passed on to proceeding party presidents. I also would like to continue to develop the party platform. With the evolving affairs of war and production, we should consider our positions on these issues. I would like to establish an IRC channel for our party. We should also continue to attempt to grow our party and foster activity within it.

Thus, in conclusion, the state of the Yellow Party is strong. We have accomplished much but we have much left to do. I hope to achieve the goals of this upcoming month like exceeding the goals of the past month.
