State of the Merlion Address

Day 1,209, 15:27 Published in Singapore Japan by Johnnie Danger

Greetings eSingaporeans. This week brought a rough transition from the previous government to the current administration. I spent a ton of time working on things that should have went smoothly. I will try and outline the week and bring you all up to date on the goings on in eSingapore. I'll try and do it in a “compliment sandwich” format.

To start off with something good...

Money Market

Our Money Market is running very smoothly minus a small hiccup on thurday when an org post expired. Loouman has it all under control now and is doing an excellent job having our currency trading in the higher echelons of the eWorld. We are well above average and it should remain as such throughout this month. Having him safeguard our MM, we will be able to chase out buyouts and takeovers from other hostile day traders looking to make a quick buck.

Now for something bad...

Natural Enemy Training War

I know many of you were looking forward to a training war with eMalaysia to complete these missions the Admins have given us, however with my time spent tracking down government org passwords, I was unable to work out a deal on one easily. I also didn't feel safe opening up a war (even a training war) without the government funds in place to help defend against BH hunters should they show up during it. I'm sorry to you all for this, but i'd rather have a safe eSingpore, wouldn't you?

And to close with a good note....

Preliminary Peninsular Malaysia Talks

Preliminary talks with the eMalaysian government haven't gone as smoothly as i've hoped they would.
However I have faith that further talks this week may help bring an end to this dark cloud that has been hanging over our heads for the past two months. Hopefully both our nations can come to an amicable agreement and move forward with prosperity for both of our great nations.

I appreciate all of you who dedicated their time and help in all these matters. I hope that you all understand that I am working hard to make eSingapore an awesome place to call home.
