SSE - Election promises

Day 1,780, 04:38 Published in Belgium Belgium by shadowukcs

Dear eBelgians

Seeing as in the past week alone 4 of my policy describing articles got deleted by a certain eBelgian moderator who prefers to see NLSP win, I'll keep this article short and brief.

For starters, unlike NLSP, we're not making promises to change something. The last president promised to make eBelgium a better place. And look how that turned out. No, We make promises to do our best to change things. And what we will strive towards is the following:

-more fun in eBelgium. People want war? Fine, let's give them one and attack something. If we get invaded, we'll RW ourselves. No one will die from a little occupation and the medals (RW and true patriot) we'll get from them would be beneficial for our economy.

-let eBelgium grow. Be done with this restrictive immigration policy. We get 30 citizenship passes every month. Let's make sure we use all 30 by the end of the month. That would mean an increase of 30 active people to eBelgium every month. That's exactly what this nation needs to grow. If we can't fill 30 spots, we'll go out to recruit foreigners from other eCountries to here.

-Abolish or severely restrict the SC. If not abolished, we will at least strive to remove all punishing sentences like the criminal justice act. The SC is a fake institution that has, since it's creation, caused nothing but quarrel, harm and internal conflict to eBelgium. Every single argument we've had in the past 2 years can be led directly in one way or another the SC. Let's face it, it is the most dictatorial, undemocratic, superbiased institution every created in erepublik and it either needs drastic reforms or total abolishment. This will make an end to people abusing their power, trying to silence political opponents and will steer eBelgium away from Legalrepublik and back to eRepublik.

-more room for individual growth and playing: People should be allowed to play this game as they want. Not be punished if they don't follow the will of a few self proclaimed community leaders.

-CoT: see how it goes. If it keeps on going like it is now for another month, we'll get out pronto. The alliance means nothing. And I'd rather be in no alliance at all than a crappy one. We've already had our fair share of those with Entente and Sol and look how that turned out. If it changes for the better than we can review it and stay in.

-More openness in eBelgium. Make the forum open to lurkers. I think there isn't a country in eWorld where the forum is so restrictive as here. In every other country, citizens from all over the world can follow discussions and see how public congress is debating. Here it's all locked down, living in our own North Korea, trying to scare away all foreigners who might develop an interest in us.

In a nutshell that's what we're going to do.

If you wanted to see an article with the standard things like NLSP will write and pretty much every CP-candidate before him, I'll have to disappoint you. It's all the basic, logic and mostly hollow stuff anyway. (increase military funding... then finding out we have no money for it... promise daily updates, then do monthly updates... promise better economic policy, then realise the economy changes every day and your policy is moot,... ), I'm just writing the out-of-the-ordinary stuff. I think most of you will be interested in that anyway

And that's what it boils down to, dear fellow eBelgians. Do you want another month of what we just had? With a incompetent president, then vote for NLSP. If you want to see a guy in power who's too afraid to face his political opponents in debate and rather spends his nights going trough endless forum law texts in order to find loopholes to get them banned from the forum or silenced, rather than confront them... if you joined up erepublik thinking and wanting it's a court-simulation where the winner of a court case can deny other players a good game experience, then by all means, vote for NLSP.

BUT

If you want to take this game to a whole new level, unfamiliar to eBelgium, take risks and reap the spoils,... if you want to enjoy this game again and see eBelgium rise to new heights... if you want to play this game for fun again and see that nothing here is permanent, that you don't die for real in a e-War and that you can always RW yourself... Vote for me and vote for the SSE.

For we WILL bring fun back to this game.

A vote for the SSE is a vote against legalrepublik and for funrepublik.

Take a risk eBelgium... I dare you.
