Srg4CP - The issue about losing citizens

Day 1,503, 03:08 Published in Australia China by srg91
Ok this is ridiculous, 3rd article of the day, I wasnt going to post it, but I found out the hard way comment section has a word limit. So I apologise for my 3rd article of the day. I understand this rather long and boring with data, but please bare with me, It took me a while to find these stats, if you can read it, I would appreciate it.
But here is goes:

"Education and Information:
Beyond doubt one of the most important, and often neglected sections. Player retention. We have lost 200 players in the past two month and are bleeding heavily in this department. As CP it will become my responsibility to discover the issue and fix it. At the moment it seems that the deal with eIndo and the slave nature of eAus existence is a lot to blame. Without honour people simply will not stay around, most of us are RL Aussies, something our Gov tends to neglect. I will see the New Player Mentoring Program is properly financed and becomes a Gov institution. "

1. I want to know where you found your stats.
2. I will prove you wrong on certain issues.

Today is the 1st of Jan 2012, according to you, in the past 2 month, we have lost 200 players. So technically on the 1st of Nov, and roughly there eAustralia has had 200 more members.

I personally can’t find the record for numbers of citizens (if you could, I would happily be proven wrong), hence I will have to work with the stats I have obtained from http://erep.maxihellas.com/citizens/countriesday.aspx

If you guys do not agree to this statistics site, there is nothing else I can do.

Before I start, I just want to point out some key points of this 2 month.
That is, Java burning on the 21st of Oct by Brazil
31st of Oct – 5th of Nov - eAustralia wipes and,
26th Nov -02nd Dec - Return of 5 of eAustralian regions.

All these dates can be found from http://battle-watcher.com/battles.php?country=49&filter=Filter

During the 2 month larni mentioned, eAustralia has been wiped and put back on the map. Let us see if it is the wipe that damaged Australia more, or us being on the map and being “slaves”.

An effect of anything is usually not felt right after an event. So let’s look at 1 week before the incident, and the week after.

On the 24th of Oct, the week before our wipe -
Australia had 186 fighters
hold an average rank point of roughly 1,2mill
average Str was almost 2600
had just above 18,000 fights
dealing almost 23mill damage.

Fast forward 2 weeks later, to the 12th of Nov (7 days after we were wiped),
we had 73 fighters,
having an average of just above 2.8mill ranking points,
average strength is 3.9k
did 10.5k fights
putting 19 million damage.

Comparing the 2 events, the first two things are the amount of fighters dropped by more then 50% (from 186 to 73) + the average ranking points increase more then 50%. (from 1.2mill to 2.8mill) This means that the players who have stopped fighting are not the old players, rather the younger new players who has quit, most likely due to no regions. In short, the wipe has damaged our newer players.

Let us go to the 19th of Nov – a week before our first region NSW was returned –
Also, this has been 3 weeks into complete wipe.
Australia had 68 fighters,
averaging just above 3.4mill ranking points;
our average strength was 4.5k,
doing 11k fights whilst dealing 25million damage.

Not much to be side aside from the steady increase of Str and ranking points, which suggest the younger players has left Australia in one shape or another. The other thing I will point out is the 25million damage, incidentally, that was also the day we successfully liberated NSW as seen from http://battle-watcher.com/battles.php?page=2&country=50 (which we lost 3 or 4 days later just before senate election)

Moving on to 1 week after we have gotten 5 regions back, On the 9th of Dec, the Helimax broke down until the 16th, it actually broke since the 30th of Nov to the 16th of Dec,

So I will use 17th, (as the 16th data probably is somewhat faulty) which is 2 weeks +1 day after we have received 5 regions back.

Australia had 166 fighters,
averaging just below 2mill ranking points,
having 3.k average strength
done 23k fights
dealing 32.1 mill damage.

Comparing this to during wipe, all signs point to more fights, more activity and new players as strength and ranking points has dropped.

Further more let us look at 3 weeks after we have gotten our 5 regions back.
On the 24th of Dec, (one day before getting the senate back mind you),

Australia has 176 fighters,
average ranking is still at 2mill,
having 3.3k strength average,
did 26.5k fights
and has done over 60 mill damage.

On that day, We were between defending Tassie and attack Canterbury during our NZ TW.

I will post what Larni written once more “Beyond doubt one of the most important, and often neglected sections. Player retention. We have lost 200 players in the past two month and are bleeding heavily in this department. "”

She has provided no data to this, mine is not population, rather the number of fighters. It is clearly shown that activity was ALL TIME LOW during the days eAustralia has no regions. Hence we probably did lost 200 players and more, during this 2 month time.

“As CP it will become my responsibility to discover the issue and fix it. At the moment it seems that the deal with eIndo and the slave nature of eAus existence is a lot to blame. “

I have discovered the reason already, lack of activity is during our wipe, and interestingly the deal with Indonesia has in fact increased our population back to pre wipe stages. It has grown is the so called “slave nature of eAus existence” and clearly all signs point towards the wipe era.

“Without honour people simply will not stay around, most of us are RL Aussies, something our Gov tends to neglect. I will see the New Player Mentoring Program is properly financed and becomes a Gov institution”

I don’t neglect the fact players are Aussies… I am an Aussie myself so I do not understand this argument. Lastly, gl with your mentoring program, are you a mentor yet?
