Srg4CP- Policies of my term

Day 1,136, 05:15 Published in Australia China by srg91

AS per promised, here are my policies:

Defense:
eAustralia has gone through some rough times during the past few month. From the PTO to Indo conquering our nation, our economy has been severely shaken.
We have some fine active soldiers (both dropbears and ADF), however it is not a secret that the Government can no longer support the troopers for the time been.
Ever since eAustralia was conquered by Indonesia last month, the dropbears have joined the eUSA Cavs in assisting EDEN some of their operations.
One of the main advantages eAustralia offer to EDEN is our timezone. When our allies are asleep in rl (pfft who needs rl and sleep), our soldiers could log on and win rounds.
This would not only prove that our soldiers are as good as any other nations, but it will improve our standing in the world stage.
This is why my proposal for the military are the following:
Our soldiers will be sent to the USA Cavs for the present times where they could train and fight whilst supplied by the Cavs.
This will lessen the burden on the eAustralian Government Bank and allow us to rebuild a decent sized wealth.
eAustralia government will be stockpiling weapons and food to prepare for the future, mass producing them will be the cheapest route.

Foreign Affair:
With our military operating alongside EDEN and USA, my foreign policies are to be involved with the affairs of EDEN, particularly regarding tactical planning of battles and brainstorming ideas with the leadership of EDEN.
Right this moment, EDEN as an alliance is not keen to protect us from Indonesia, hence it would be a smarter idea for us to sit down with the Indonesians and come up with an agreement. Its not a popular call. But at this rate, particular with the new game function of Neutral Enemies, we wouldn't be on the map for a long time if we continuously harass Indonesia.
My Foreign Affair team will be focused upon improving eAustralia and eIndonesian relations. Honestly, this is not a pretty choice, but during these tough times, being able to survive as a nation and rebuild would be more attractive then no nation and completely broke government.

My main focus on this term more internal then external. This is a good time to rebuild, to attract new players in our ranks. Hence it will be important for our internal structure to be organised enough, so that we can allow new players into our community with smooth transition.

Finance: Finance is one of the most underrated job in any given cabinet. However, due to my previous financial experiences, I understand the importance of having gold in our nation. Which is why the most important plan I have is to save up as much gold and AUD as possible.
my proposal links heavily with the senate and I will be working closely with the group to ensure eAustralia has a brighter future then the current times.
Some of the changes will be, increase of importing tax, encouraging players to export our goods.
I will be pushing for minimal printing, which will have a positive effect on our trading wall. The idea is to accumulate enough gold and aud so that our MM can be under eAustralian Government control again, not foreign investor's control.

Industry - Industry will be mainly be responsible of stockpiling q5 weapons for eAustralian army for future usage. It will be a job maintained by Finance department.

Internal Culture: Since my main focus is on the internal structure of the community, I am going to work heavily on the culture aspect of the community. This is the foundation of our new players.
In the Ministry of Culture, the ministry is broken into 3 section:
Public Relations: Idea is to produce articles on the actions of the government, and of the senate on regular bases. It will keep the populace informed of any decisions made by the government.
Education: In education, articles will be posted every 3 or 4 days to educated our citizens some of the general knowledge of the game. I want to start an education bank, hence older articles will be saved, updated and published at regular bases for the new players of our nation.
Health: I remember the good old days when Auseaid was around. Sadly the days are long gone for something like that. However, I wish to bring back Auseaid in the form of Centrelink, where players can request food and advise from our players.

Overall, the general idea is to reduce spending, have an MM wall for the government and save up both gold and aud in bank. It is also important to promote a smooth and easy going environment for the new players and last but not least, improve our foreign relationship with EDEN and be more active in the bigger picture.

I will release my Cabinet list in the next few days.

Thank you for reading.

Over and out
